European servers not working ?

Hi guys,

It started 30 minutes ago, I got disconnected from the game. I can go only to the character selection screen and from then on I can't get in the game. ( Guild Wars couldn't complete the operation, code = 13 ).

Does any european player have this problem ?

Yes there is a problem, probably due to them shutting servers and adding them to guildwars 2 just a speculation btw :P

I hope not... I don't think people will play gw2 if they are on 6 year old servers lmao

Always european servers... sure if American district they solve that quick... I fell discriminated

For me only characters in Guild Hall are "dead". I can log in on characters that are not in Guild Hall. Too bad that's just 3 of them.

Can't they redirect us automatically to the US servers, until they fix the European ones ?

when i read that i had hope connecting with a charackter in the game that is not on pvp island. My nec is pre searing or my monk in factions. But didnt work :/

Well, i hope they fix the issue soon! i am now 1 hour and 30 mins with a lost connection(code 13)

I have same problem but they are saying american districts aren't having the problems...which is wierd cuz i am From california but i am in euro guild (Because Euro's Can actually pvp.) But i log in to euro everytime now so idk if it is the just the Euro Servers...WTB Server select on character select. Scrub Anet.

I have recently came back to the guild wars community ONLY TO FIND nothing but errors from your server's, Constant no loads, Constant Radom Disconnect just from double click on map to teleport, then not being able to log in for 5mins then being able to connect right away after it fails for the 5 minutes. Just recently about 20mins ago i got a code 13 after match in RA both parties we're stuck at 0 and can still type but not log out, I alt f4 and reload GW now i can log in to character select but not load any screens. I pay 80$ a month for internet and Down load at 850kb/1.5mb a seccond, So it is not my Internet. To think that a 16 year old can run a better server than a multi-million dollar company is a disgrace. if this is what i am to expect from Guild Wars 2....Don't expect to be getting my 59.95$(USD)

We are sorry to hear that you are not able to connect to Guild Wars at the moment. We are currently looking into a server side issue and hope to have it resolved very soon. We will send you an update once the corrections have been made.

It's unbelievable main acc is still standing on 9 rings.
I want to log in with my 2th acc but not a single character can login.

And it's not the first time this week during the event ^^

So - what's the timezone for this forum? (Put another way, how long's this been going on?)

(Edit: Times seemed to change for me when I posted this, so I guess it's logon-specific. The answer to my underlying question was "An hour and a half or so".

Annoyingly, I'm on venty with a couple of friends, who've both been able to create new characters to at least give them something to do; I can't even do that...)

On 2 seperate PC's I can't log into any char that was in either "Embark Beach" or the "Guild Hall" or "pre searing".
