Give the El hero tonics elite armor

Some of the EL hero tonics have their standard armor on and its super fugly. How about giving them their elite armor at random like the margonite and destroyer tonics

True it would look nicer, but come on, you got the tonic for nothing more than not deleting a character. It's not like you had to do anything special.

I was thinking the same thing.. maybe they should add an option at the hero armor NPCs to be able to upgrade your tonic similarly.

those tonics just barely came out and already someone is asking for them to be "better" lol
I wouldn't like to look like any of the heroes either way so don't particularly care. Weather it is ugly or cool as you say is a matter of opinion though, so not really a valid argument imo.

That said Im not against this idea, it wouldn't harm anyone or anything, can't really find any reason to say no to it. However not gonna sign either since I don't really care either way.

It makes sense though. There are already multiple skins for Kuun and Rurik Tonics; what's wrong with giving all these heroes their official elite armours?

I seriously doubt they will change them to be varied like the gold and green tonics, but they could at least put them in a set of elite armor.

Opening the box and getting an Acolyte Sousuke tonic felt the same as getting a mini hydra. I used the tonic and I knew it was going to be a struggle to sell it when I saw that he was wearing his default purple armor. I put him up for sale and within a few hours I got TWO bites. I could tell that the first person was wanting him just for the sake of having something new and didn't want to pay for it. The other person seemed really interested and ended up buying it from me after I told him how much I was looking for. My tonic was one of the cheapest for sale and I still felt kinda bad afterwards. That's just how bad these hero tonics are.

Putting them in elite armor won't make them super desirable, but it would make them look a little more interesting than they do right now.

Don't even start with the "omg you are so greedy" crap. My friend did not want the tonic and I sure as hell wasn't going to run around dressed up as a man. You probably would have done the same thing. My point here was that Sousuke and his buddies are pretty damn dull.

So, Rurik, Destroyer and Margonite EL tonics apparently have various forms when u use them.

I also think most default hero armors r ugly.

So, i am gonna agree to having the hero EL tonics randomly give the default or one of the 2 elite armors.

That way these tonics will become also more valuable.
At least then i would wanna buy/use them.

This is pretty much what made me post this idea. I bought one of the new white tonics on the cheap for 50k, that was his asking price, and frankly people shared their reasons with me why they gave me such low offers. Since they can give the higher end tonics random forms I think giving the hero tonics elite armor would make them more appealing.

i like this idea. If i have a EL Hayda, i would want the armor to be Deldrimor armor. This is just an example, just to show players should have a choice to select the type of armors for their own respective hero tonics.

I definitely agree with this. Different possible forms is one of the reasons tonics such as Cottontail are so fun!

You're asking to much from Anet. You have to upgrade a hero's armor to put a statue in your HOM and then that statue doesn't even display the armor you upgraded, it displays their basic armor.

You really think they would change that for the tonics?

I would be all for just changing their armor to an elite one without making it random like the green ones. Its easy to do, the code is already there and it just needs to be applied to the hero tonics. Any of Sousukes elite armor is better than his default.

Anton and Xandra deldrimor armors = most beauty in game.
Anet could let us change EL hero tonic armor by using like deld armor remnant or other remnant.

It would be cool for sure, definitely a good idea for an update or something along those lines. We should give anet some credit for coming up with something new and giving those who have 6 year accounts something other than minipets (like every other year).We should at least few days to let these tonics settle in before we start critiquing them.

Nonetheless, it is a good idea. I perticular want the El Jin tonic and 'elite' are better than her default. It is/was still a nice idea from A-net to introduce something new into the game for those with 6 year old characters.

Actually not a bad Idea. I hate the majority of the Basic armors...
And with so many other tonics changing randomly(Cottontail,Kunnavang, Rurick,Destroyer,Margonite) I dont see the Problem with them doing it.
It would actually make some of the less wanted tonics more sought after as well.
