I did the Deep with 7 heroes on NM with no cons as a D/W VoS with SoS, ST, SoGM, MM, Panic, Ineptitude, N/Rt Healer, and UA healer/prot (more for UA than anything else). It was fairly straightforward once I learned the tricks. I used the portal trick (1,2,3 into the first portal, 4-7 flagged where you spawn, you go through the second portal, unflag, and everyone pops to you).
The next trick is getting through the gate that normally requires 5 people to open. Kill the first group through the gate, use Necrotic Traversal to bring over as many people as possible (I could bring over 5). Then kill the next closest group and aggro the Aspect or the group on the left cliff (seemed to work for me) and a horde of enemies will spawn and kill everyone left behind the gate. Use UA/Rebirth to bring them over.
Then it was pretty straightforward up to Kanaxai, following the wiki and pulling when it's recommended. For Kanaxai, I used the trick where you get him to spawn adds on one side of the room. Once enough adds are spawned, he can't spawn any more. I didn't even use a bonder or a tank skill, just running up to one side, using You Move Like a Dwarf! and running away (edit: no recall either, although it would certainly make it neater). He'll start running to you before you actually get into typical aggro range, so I managed to keep knocking him down without aggroing the old groups. The groups he spawns don't seem to be linked to each other, and I could aggro one or two if they wandered too far out of position without pulling the whole group. Then you can just pull him to the side without the adds and fight him normally.
As for Urgoz, I got to Urgoz himself pretty easily, but then I got quickly destroyed. I wasn't even expecting to win, Urgoz with heroes seems like it would require micro skills way beyond me.
