Quick Dungeon Question

I "completed" EotN nearly a year ago and I am now trying to pick up the bits and pieces I didn't get, mainly the dungeons.

My question is, how can I tell for sure which dungeons I did not complete? I am assuming, the completed ones have a chest showing. Is this correct?

yes you are correct....and here is a link you might find helpful:

(the info on completed/not finished is at the bottom--a door if not done, chest if done)

keep in mind you have to actually have been inside the dungeon to get the little door icon, so you might have a few dungeons that you still need to complete that don't show up on you "m" map yet.

This is a nice little tidbit. Go to the wiki and see where all the dungeons are, then you can look to see if you have visited/completed them. Also the icons change from normal colored to red in hardmode.

Counting doors and chests, I am missing two, Heart of the Shiverpeaks and Fronis Irontoe's Lair. I can see the swirl where HotS is, but not sure about FIL. Will continue my search.

You can't just wander outside and stumble on to either. You get the quest for HotS from King Jalis Ironhammer in Battledepths. I'm pretty sure it's a required dungeon to finish the North storyline, so I'm not sure how you missed it.

You talk to Kilroy Stonekin in Gunnar's Hold and do the quests leading up to his Punch-Out Extravaganza! to get in to Fronis' Lair.

Is there an icon for either of them? I am pretty sure I did everything in Battledepths, HM is unlocked. As far as Kilroy is concerned, never bothered with him. Didn't think he was part of the primary.


Edit: Found my dungeon book on a mule. Do have HotS completed.

There is an icon for Frontis Irontoe's Lair, but it's to the east of Gunnar's Hold and is not directly accessible from the map - you have to talk to Frontis to get there. I don't see an icon for HotS on the map, possibly because you have to get there through the Battledepths.
