Survivor and Snowball Tournaments

Hello, I've have been reading the Wiki about the GvG snowball Tournaments. I wanted to use my Suvivor character into GvG but i was unsure if dying in the Tournament it counts as a death. So just a question:

If i die in the Snowball tournament will that count as a death?

(I know i could just simply use another character but its something i would still like to know)

I do not know for sure but I would expst so, why wouldn't it count?

I'd say try it on another char. /deaths before being killed in SD and /deaths afterwards.

I'm pretty sure it counts as a death. If you look at this page ( http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Survivor ) it says certain PvP deaths don't count but only mentions Dragon Arena specifically.

I would suggest you use a different character and see how many deaths it has then go die in the GvG match and see if it changes.

My guess is that deaths in the GvG snowball tournies don't count against you, since deaths in normal Dwayna vs. Grenth snowball matches do not count against you.

not sure about the other snowball fight stuff but know for a fact that death in snowball dominance counts against survivor

Snowball dominance is a PvE quest. Snowball Arena is a PvP event minigame.

SD will incurr an actual death and result in survivor ending.
My wife who was using necro for 5 runs had her deaths increased - but some reason i do recall sd having no deaths at some time but then again i may have been thinking of something else.
The wraith quests i think ( off wiki ) they dont stop survivor if you die
