I just recently fired it up again about a month ago and im loving it! I got my E/RT up to a 20 and im on the last 3 missions of Prophecies and been dibblin/dabblin in Factions and Nightfall.
I just have ALWAYS been wondering a few things:
1) At a mission outpost when I ask if everyone is ready, they say "1". What does that mean? Doesn't seem like a proper response to are you ready. ;p
2) What exactly is a weapon worth a lot? I have got tons of gold weapons but from PC's on here people tell me its just worth what it is. How do I truly find or get those K's weapons worth shit tons.
3) What is a common amount of gold to have? I find myself constantly falling beneath 1K when upgrading armor, buying salvage kits, etc. It seems like lots of people have unlimited money and it pisses me off!
4) What are Minis? And what do they do? Who can have them?
5) I saw some dude (i think Necro) resurrect a bunch of "boneyard" things or something that run around and F" sh*t up with us in our party. What are those. How do I get?
6) I ascended and saw that I could go to the underworld for 1K. Is the Underworld travable by map or do I have to pay 1K each time to go? When am I ready for the underworld and who should I go with?
7) I need a dope ass Fire Wand for my Nuking Fire E/RT. Where do I get? Or where is a good drop zone?
Thanks guys!

1) Ironically, your question #1 is what #1 is. 1 means you are ready and is used because it's shorter than ready. I don't really know how it came into existence.
2) You will just have to know. Generally, if you get a certain weapon quite often, it will not be worth anything. If you do not get it often, you should just run a PC. As for mods, if they're not (considered) useful, they're worthless.
3) I'm really not sure. Most of my friends have over one million. I figure most people have somewhere between 100-300k, while there's also a lot of people with less than 100k. Before zaishen keys I never really gotten over 50k.
4) Minis is a short-term for minipets. These pets are cosmetic but can also be added to the Hall of Monuments (HoM), which gives you points for items and titels you can show off in GW2 when you link your accounts.
5) They are minions. You can summon, or rather animate them with certain necromancer skills, such as animate bone minions.
6) You have to pay it each time. The first time, I would go with an experienced player if I were you. You have to do the quests in a certain order or it will be incredibly hard.
7) I am not sure where you can get it, but you should really get a 40/40 set. This means you have a focus which has 20% chance to half the casting time spells and a 20% chance to half their recharge time. Your wand will have the same properties.
You can also swap your weapons using f1 and f2. You can add more weapon sets, up to. You should do this.
You should then also have an 'enchant set'. This set is a staff, which has 20% chance to half spell casting time and 20% chance to half their recharge. Also, it lengthens the duration of any enchantment cast in this set, like an attunement, by 20%.
Then you should have a highset. This set has whichever 20% can co-exist with the mod or inscription that gives: (-1 energy regeneration and + 15 energy), which I think is called live for the day.
Finally, you should also have a shield set. You will swap to this set when you take a lot of damage, it will increase your total health and/or give you a slight armor bonus. You can use any one handed physical weapon (spear/sword/axe etc.) and a shield. The mod on the spear doesn't matter too much. The shield should have +10 armor vs. a specific source of damage (piercing for example) and +30 health or another +armor for all incoming damage.
Hope this helps.
Cheers and good luck!
