pink dye on ancient ranger armor is red.

I have to say that pink dye on ancient ranger armor is bugged. Its red and not pink. I dont really mind it because that dye really brings out the contrast of the details compared to the regular red dye. ITS HOT STUFF, is there any other armor that the pink dye acts similarly on?

I posted a photo of the leggings comparison. As you can see, the pink has more shadow compared to the red.

You can slightly notice a dfferent but its just the way the dye system works and how they alter the hue. Some dyes just look nicer on different peices, don't think theirs alot that could be done

Pink shows a bit more detail, but if you are trying to go for pink, why not throw in a white dye to test it out? You might get some results.

its the same for the mask of the mo zing. it would be nice if they fixed it.

yes lots of the dyes now do nothing---sometimes black and grey do the same thing (or white/silver)....its sad, but at least we have the dye preview so we are not wasting them (the ONE good thing to come out of that dye update---)

That's not a bug; that's how it works. Working as intended, even if it's not what it's advertised to be.

At first I was looking at the chest xD.

But yeah it's not bugged. The two colors are just so close together that, depending on the armor, you can barely see a difference.

The pink doesn't work well on all materials in the game, but I noticed it worked on my female Mesmer's Courtly dress -- bright pink with the gold piping still on the back. I guess cloth in the game takes the best colors. Even so, I'm sticking with green or purple for the Mesmer, and her everyday "uniform" is the Shining Blade one anyway.

Edit: Just remembered that yellow on my male Canthan warrior armor came out as gold, which was an improvement. Green is another color that works for some armors and for other armors, not at all.

Doesn't work well on most warrior armors either....anything metallic barely shows any pink at all.
