I'm annoyed I won't get to try it myself on my Nec - I'll have to settle for trying it on my Mes with a close enough setup to what my Nec takes.

I forgot about the nerf before doing this with my warrior. I had developed a build I called chickway and loaded consumables for all my other characters. Splinter with barrage helped a lot before the nerf. I had to get food for the two year old after I started BLA for my warrior after the nerf. My heroes were flagged to the first stairs. I came back 35 minutes later to salma's victory talk. Lawlz, pin and forget. 3 more characters to slog through now.
Can anybody tell me a successful strategy for a 2-human-team (*) to overcome the first big jade group? So far (before and after nerf) this group consisting of around a dozen jades including a jade warrior boss steamrolled everything we put in its way.
* = we are an elementalist and a monk and we would fill up the team either with guild members or with heroes
