Items drop to the ground and can be looted when you die (can be from equipped weapons, items in your inventory, armour you're wearing... anything on your person). Hey, it happens to enemies so it's only fair!

That'd make me chuckle when people first notice it.
The example was about a mission where you drop up Smoke Canisters in the midddle of 5 baby turtles and the Adult turtles with Shell mounted Cannons shoot giant blocks of Jade (Seeing as the Luxons live on a Jade sea that ist the available material to work with) at the Smoke canister.

Your example would be pretty hilarious as well. I can just see the Rangers and Paragons screaming at others in the party to slow down and help look for the dropped arrows/spears

Edit: Just thought of another one... Anet add "Weight" to weapons and items like in PnP RPGs. Players are suddenly not able to move because they have 30+ gold Armors and weapons from farming in their inventory, not to mention the 10 stacks of Consumables they wanted to use while farming for golds to fill the remaining spaces.

Friendly fire in pve: because I want to c space unload an asuran scan chain on these super high damage 'nukers' in pugs.

Friendly fire in pvp: because it's faster to kill my own team than to get them to type 8 chars for /resign.

I would laugh heartily if they put a 15 second cool down on Shadow Form.

Removal of fame and rank. Nothing else would come close to the meltdown and tears that this would achieve.

That's one of the funniest things I have ever seen.

For the next April Fools fake skill update:

- Knockdowns now knock your weapon out of your hand onto the ground.

- Monster Skill that changes the dye color of a random piece of your armor

- Surviving monsters will attempt to pick up the items dropped by their comrades

Some games have this EQ for PS2 does. your weapons and armor have hitpoints and when they break your weapons basically do no dmg and you take much more dmg when you armor breaks.

You have to goto a blacksmith and repair them.

Adding in "real life" aspects to the game, such as:

- You tire/become exhausted as you run around, forcing your character to walk and ultimately have to take a rest. Say bye-bye to runners and hello to 5 million-hour long dungeons!
- Your energy depletes and you have to revitalize it through the food and alcohol items, or else you are forced to exhaustion.
- You tire from using weapons/face mental exhaustion as you spell cast, etc.

There was a game I played that did that, and I seriously found that SO ANNOYING when I had to stop and eat bread/drink water every five seconds as I tried to navigate through dungeons, or I became sluggish and weak as I swung my sword too many times and the boss would annihilate me, etc.

Non-consenting player combat and skill usage in outposts using PvP versions of skills. You could attack bots, farmers, any person who didn't accept you into a group, AoE the people grouping around Xunlai, Cripple Shot train people trying to get to merchants.

Allowing people to jump, this would screw up every PvP format ever as they would now be filled with jumping retards! (For a case study see -> WoW)
