I'm probably blind, can a kind soul please point me to where I can see this Orange Cat? I have 30/50 and clicked through all the items but only found a cat that looked like a raccoon...

I realized that I didn't put most statues for the companion and mini pets...have to log in and retame the pets and find where I put all the minis xD.

Haven't read anything about rare mini in GW1 = the same Mini in GW2

He means any gold mini in GW1 in the HoM is the same as any other gold mini in GW1 in the HoM, i.e. a 1st birthday goldie is the same as a limited edition goldie.

I enter my character's name and click the arrow but nothing happens...

I believe what he means is that, any gold mini has the same impact on your HoM score as any other gold miini, irrespective of its rarity in game

Surely this will make all mini pets prices fluctuate a hell of a lot.

I know I won't bother paying a lot for a 5 year gold mini, when a 1 year old mini is enough to activate rewards in the HOM. You only need 1 unique and 1 rare. But then the price of 1 year old rare mini's might boost up now too. It could be all swings and roundabouts.

I'm wondering how this will be implemented in game, like a command you can use right away. I personally would like it see it in lore, with a historian NPC you talk to that has a great book of lineages and traces you back to your ancestors. Maybe with some fancy artwork of a pedigree and magical sparkly lines that show where you came from (Ascalon, Cantha, Elona) and other things in history or genealogical record.

Or I'm just asking too much. Either way! I'm excited.

kurz/lux are considered pve titles, zaishen is considered a pvp title.

Hmm, it looks quite fair overall - though previously we were told that if you got any level in a title it would give you something for GW2.

It's fallen fairly generously for me. I've got 15 title statues, 10 heroes, 7 elite sets of armour including elite Luxon. I've got all the ingredient for oppressors' and destroyers' weapons too, so should end up with a nice few points.

One thing, I think it's silly that the Xaishen title is considered PvP (even though it's just a money sink), yet Luxon/Kurzick isn't. Maybe if they raised the cap for displaying the latter to level 5 or something. But I think it's silly that you can't get any credit for that as things stand.

Question that the faq didn't answer and I didn't see in this thread(I don't believe I'm the only one wondering):

How many of the reward items do you get? Can you get them on any character, a la the preorder /bonus items in GW? Or do you just get them on your first character? Just get them on one character (which may lead to them being Too awesome to use?

Definitely a fan of how they implemented this. Tried it out to discover I was missing 3-4 points for 30, didn't take me very long to identify via the interactive checklist what I was missing to cross the 30-point threshold.

I've never been a fan of titles, so I'm content with my current 31 points. No super-duper grinding required, I'm just a casual albeit longtime player. Would have been mildly upset if I had to grind or buy the remaining titles (lucky/unlucky/drunkard/sweet tooth/wisdom/etc. etc.) for more unlockable items.

Props to the GW2 team for pulling this off so well, I am as pumped as ever for the release!
