Upcoming GW:B Work

That happens like once every fifty games.

It should happen like not at all.

Add in missed skill update timelines, unfixed balance problems, and overall abandonment of the game for maximum win.

I always wanted to roll out with an 8 paragon team in PVE, but good luck finding 8 paragons that want to do, what your working on.
If we do end up getting 7/8..can we get some more paragons plz? I would be happy with one more Paragon hero, then two people could make an 8 paragon team.

The thing I really want by now.. is some real news over upcomming update/changes.
I really want to the most things that past this thread posts... But talking
about them without hearing or knowing is even wurse

I don't think we'll hear anything in advance. I think Anet has given up on giving us previews.

That is, unless they're actually THAT far behind and the derv updates are still 2 months away. In that case, don't worry about any of this, because if they take that long on skill updates then none of this will ever happen.

As an avid Luxon Faer, I can tell you it happens probably once every three to five. >_>

something has changed in my mind, about anet giving us full hero team
that reply of regina sounds a bit like: come on, we wont do that.
then after 10 more pages, anet hasnt said a word
that 2nd fact makes 2 possibilities:

1. they want us to forget about it, so that they dont need to do it
2. they will surprise us with it

its 50/50
i just started to think about what i'd do if it wont happen, and i already kinda decided to play other games (no MMO, and if i do, only free MMO's, just to see if there's a good free game) which will be on my wii

sry, i just got something in my head telling me to quit gw in case i have false hope
i dont wanna play an almost dead game (for me), so i'll be thinking about what i'll do from now on

i still hope anet will do it for us, as the majority is hoping for it aswell

i will be here, sniffing around for nice stuff to talk about, until i made up my mind for real

3. They're lazy and never reply to threads on Guru unless it's to refute something.
4. The CR team has been at GamesCon, doing interviews, and readying for PAX.
5. They don't give a shit.

Tbh, I think it's 3-5.

heres to hoping for an update today, but since we havn't gotten a preview of the derv, chances are slim.

they may fall under nr1, i havent said a reason why they want us to forget about it, could be your reasons, but could also be that they dont like to give us that change (which could fall under your nr5)

so yea, its still the same, for now its 50/50, but if they dont even talk about it for another few weeks, i give up hope, which i partly did some minutes ago

so as far as anet shows us, its 30/70... this is what i think, i hope i'm wrong, but we gotta see that soon, let them change my mind... or not -_-

giving us alot of nerfs can be very bad, but giving people false hope (which it'll be in case you wont do it) is worse than nerfing all skills into the ground

You know they've said they will play with the fans gw2 during gamescom. I don't think it will be much different with pax. So I'd expect news on stuff some time after pax.

Obviously "the new guy" has to come up with his lofty goals for the live-team as he enters the scene.

So we wait. And we will wait for a quite long time and after that quite long time "the new guy" will be as exhausted and slightly frustrated as "the old guy" (Linsey) with the Live-Team and its amazing resources.

"I want to do this and that, and maybe this and this and all these amazing things look at them how beautiful..." while the 2-3 people that work for the Live-Team scream in agony "noooo we can't do it we can't do it oh god new guy please leave us in peace!"

I say Good Luck with that! Just pump in more consumables more weapon-skins I won't use more generic quests more emperor kisu and his ancestors lore more overpowered enemies.

The frustrating part for the Live-Team is that no matter what they will add to the game it will never be enough. And it will always be too late and we will always ask for m0armoarmOarrr.

So yeah I guess I'm excited too see if the "new" Live-Team can walk the walk and what they will deliver and when they can deliver it.

its true, they only do what they think is good, even when fans ask for something, it may not help

as for the full hero team itself, i'd like to try rotscale NM and then HM from ToA once we have it
i've tried it on NM once, but i couldnt make it, so that'll be the first to feel 7 heroes of mine together
and i'll make all heroes useful, first with discord, but after a while i quit discord and use only own builds

if they wont do it, well, then i havent got much left in gw, so guess i take my leave then

I'd also like to point out the lack of ANY reliable information we've been given...ever. Meaning that what's been said by them, and in the case of heroes neatly undermined by Regina, is probably all a load of bull.

Looking forward to 7 Heroes teams, should be fun trying out the elite areas without having to team up with other players or using solo farm builds.

Did you miss the pages of people, including Regina, hammering the point home that this "idea" was clearly speculated and not rubber stamped? Did you listen to the interview?

You know, as nice as heroes would be... I'm against it.
It would turn this from a MMORPG to just a MORPG (drop the multiplayer part.)

I DO think however, that they should add 7 heros as an occasional weekend special. Afterall, GvG weekends are a big snore for most people, and a majority of players are maxxing out their reputation titles (please don't stop them all together though!).

I think it would be a nice gift to casual players and people who have irregular work schedules.

Just a thought.

Guild Wars is not, and was never, an MMO. It was marketed as an online rpg you can play with your friends, or the AI. Forcing people to play with others, who'd rather play alone, is stupid in a game like Guild Wars.
