Casual players don't play games to farm. By definition. Yes, we can go to PvX wiki and find farming builds, but that would mean we're not casual players any more. We're zombies whose life consists of boring repetitive sequences devoid of any spirit and humanity.
It's not that casual player can't beat this game in HM - it's why he bought the game and plays it - but he simply refuses to become a zombie.

Before you start with the nonsense "oh you want everything free" - the issue here is why someone who spends 10 hours vanquishing Joko's Domain over and over - should get less wintersday items / benefits than someone who solo farms for 10 hours.
The reason why PuGing is so rare in this game is this:
* You progress faster with H/H
* You earn more money by solo farming
That's a horrible design for *online* game.

When you play all weekend and you end up with some 20 items (combined, not each), those 10k titles really make sense.
It's the same thing with items Nick is collecting that drop from like 10ish foes in the WHOLE game. And I don't mean 10 KINDS of foes - I meant 10 foes.
But hey, I guess grind-fans bring in the most money so it makes sense for A.Net to cater to them.
Even if it destroys their own game in the process.
A FANTASTIC outlook for GW2!

I'm afraid we're terribly outnumbered.
