Extreme Lags and Code40

WTF A-Net, the past hour Ive been running around with >1000ms and getting Code40 all the time, what the heck is up? >.<

Europe Servers are the only laggy ones for me... Now im stuck in Euro and cant load... when i was in American it was fine.

If it's for an awesome new WiK stuff (i dont know how that would explain only europe servers lagging but whatever) then that would be awesome. If not, explanation afterwards would be a +1...

You ain't kidding, I can only log onto 1 character atm. Codes 40/007 turns up for the rest of them. Loading screens get stuck at 0% before I d/c. Ping is unbelievably high. Quite a few other in my allies are having the same problem and they're from mostly around Europe.

I was laggy on American Server, changed to Europe and the lag got worse...

I doubt its for WiK, its just that A-Net is too focudes on GW2 to mind GW and that pisses me off so much I could scream...

Same issue in American servers ...

After login, my characters cannot load whatever zone they were last in, or the guild hall. Error 40.

I'm logging in from the UK. My Tracert's die at:

My other account seems to take a different route for some reason, but dies at:

Oh my god, what is this? My entire alliance can't even go to their Guild Halls. It keeps saying that "You are already waiting to start a mission".

Yep this is one of the worst times I've ever had to deal with. Was in American dists not having too many issues, then went to Euro dists now I can't leave Euro w/o dc'ing. For me the only concern happens while zoning for some reason.

The servers probably clogged up or something, although that seems a bit unlikely with most of the europe crowd playing in american districts.

However something did go wrong, the boardwalk is still open, even though the decorations are removed and i believe something must cause a conflict here, how that is related to the network is a wild guess, anet get on it NOW and fix the problem. For the last 2 weeks most euro servers did have more and more laggspikes, and playing in american districts is fine, but a bit less responsive.

Also this forum is slow as hell, took me 5 minutes to load this thread alone.

Impossible to log in...

Got error 13/40 when logging in most of the time. When logged in and going to other location i often got a 15-20 seconds delay before the actual attempt of mapload.

No extreme pings here (so far).

Gaile happened to be online in-game last night when the festival reset itself. She supposedly reported that.

And yes, laggy here (when isn't it laggy in gw?) too. Fa/Jq matches are messed up. 3vs3 teams, etc.

Perseverance pays. Aftet many attempts I managed to reach the map I needed and do what I had to do, but still a pain, yeah.

And for the forum...for me it's been like this all this last week, atleast, and now it's vene better, before it took me almost 10 full minutes to load each thread.

We're aware of the network issues, and the server teams are working on tracking them down. Thanks for the reports and your patience as things get sorted. I'll keep you posted with information as I learn more.

Lol now I cant join ZM because of Code40...

Friend is getting code 040 but I have tried many times without problems.
