Getting into Gayla Hatchery

Hi there,

I have recently come back to GW (well..yesterday) after not playing for a couple of months and decided to finish off a couple if titles that were near completion. One of them i needed was Protector of Cantha. I only need Gayla Hatchery to get it, however i cannot get into the mission area.

My guild / alliance is Kurzick so at first i thought this was the problem, but according to some this shouldn't be a problem. I then check guildwiki.com and it told me i needed the Befriending the Luxons quest before i could unlock the quest Stolen Eggs.

I spent 2 hours getting 10k Luxon faction then went to speak to Elder Rhea to get the quest. She didn't have it. She had two other quests which i have since completed but alas, still no getting into Gayla. I was then told that if i was holding more Kurz than Lux faction that might be the cause, so i spent all the Kurz faction and also lost my 10k Luxon faction because of my allegiance. I then went out and earned more Lux than Kurz faction thinking this would solve it...nope, still no Gayla entry.

I assume i have already done the Befriending the Luxons quest but it was so long ago i cant remember.

Anyone any ideas as to why i cant get into Gayla?

Stolen eggs is the quest. Check with Elder Rhea to see if Befriending is offered still, just to be sure you did complete it. Can't think of another reason why you can't get there.

Been to Rhea numerous times, she has no quests for me to do

You get the quest "befriending the luxons" from someone is Maatu Keep.
I believe it was Sister Tai.

You need Journey to Cavelon from Jamei in Maatu keep first.

So go get another 10k Lux ^_^

I think that might be it, cheers. My chars 5 years old and i hadn't even noticed i'd not done that quest
