I am curious because I can't find sufficient reason to be in a guild. I have GW complete since about a month ago, and I am enjoying very much the Pve part of the game, and I've stayed in a guild for about a week, but I didn't know what to expect from it. I didn't actually need any help with anything, mostly because I could find the help I needed in the mission areas, objects I can find on my own, and for now I am too weak for pvp. I wanted at least socialization but mostly the people in the guild ignored me when I tried to talk, so that was out of the question and the alliance was big and silent. I am confused, can you please explain what I am supposed to expect of a guild to make it a fun experience?

but being a guild leader of an active and large guild requires quite a bit of time dedication. ;-)
The fun from being in a guild/alliance is the interaction. So try and find a guild that suits you.
