Thackeray Scavanger Hunt

With the new build, other than the Shining Blade camp they added a new scavanger hunt from Thackray. After you listen to all his dialoges with Gwen go outside of the EoTN and talk to him. He takes sweets,ales and food(?) in exchange for random items. Also he is looking for candles.

Yup he is right! awesome! I think we make a birthday pie.. Why else would he wants candles?

The Shining Blade Camp they added its part of the Obey vs Dismantle war going on. I sudjest you go read all the 90 pages in GW2 guru :P They can be found if you go look aroud ToA but someone said you need to finish EoTN to see them.

The Shining Blade Camp is on the south western corner of Talmark Wilderness at Dakutu Village.

Looks like anyone whith apple cider and brthday cup is done whith the quest. I see people selling 1 apple cider for as much as 5k :/

He accepts up to 3 Pumpkin Cookies as sweets for Random Junk.

He needs food too, probably the NF feast items.

Ok, i went to the HoM and listened to Thackery's and Gwen's entire exchange about the tea, but I can't find him to get a quest from him. I looked in both in EotN in Ice Cliff Chasms just in the immediate area, but no Thackery. Where is he supposed to spawn?

You need a bit more conversation, just visit it again and the quest is available after they discuss Gwen's birthday.

Ok, thx. I went back in and they talked about running thru the forest and swimmiing in rivers at midnight. Gwen told him she wasn't a ranger and get lost. I'll keep trying. Thx for the tip.

Candles gets you a gold backpack from him to. You can get them at Sardalec Sanctum (Or however its spelt), from Necromander Munne (In exchange for 3 honeycombs).
