Faction grinding, which is faster?

Been gone for nearly a year, was wondering whether Kurzick or Luxon faction was faster to get, and how.

both are easily roflstomped if you don't mind abusing OP skills and such :\

In response to Darcy's post below me... Indeed there are other options (which I myself prefer) but by far these are the fastest methods...

Or if you are solo, you can vanquish Unwaking Waters over and over. Takes about 25 mins. Which faction you get depends on where the territory line is located at the time.

There is also Jade Quarry and Fort Aspenwood where you also earn Balthazar Faction to buy Zaishen Keys.

As far as solo options, my preference is to vq Morostav Trail (23k faction), 31 minutes is my record h/h, 33 mins is more typical giving 700-750 faction/minute. Drazach Thicket is my #2 option, about 17k faction in about 25 mins h/h yielding about 650-700 faction/min.

If the pvx times are valid, for a "perfect" 20 minute DTSC its 850/minute and a 30 minute one its 560/minute. so, depending on your pug luck, you may or may not exceed the h/h vanquishing faction yield cited above. I find it preferable to h/h rather than take time to form a group and deal with typical pug behavior.


Haven't farmed lux faction, but those are some of the times that you can achieve for the kurz side.

If you don't want to do vanquishes: JQ is probably roughly even in terms of which side wins, but Kurz seem to win more often in FA.

I'd suggest luxon, you can speed clear for both kurz and lux, but on lux side of JQ you can get in in 30 seconds, while on kurz side it takes like 10 minutes.
