5th anniversary , what you think ?

Hopefully the event will start on thursday like previous years. Im expecting to maybe get a preview of skill balance changes as well. Maybe some quests relating to the war in kryta.

Norn, Vanguard, Deldrimor and Asura skills maxed-type items? What's the point in that if you're already maxed rank in their respective titles?

I expect: cupcakes, new minis, open boardwalk, and fireworks.

I'd like: PvE Mesmer love, War in Kryta quests, A new Zaishen sign post for Vanquishing, (Not mixing VQs in with missions/bounties), and more on the Thackery/Gwen thing.

i would be interested in seeing more things like Zaishen Quests being introduced for more better team play

I want to see a mega event, where all the past events are put together into one SuperDuperAwesome event.

So lets make a list of what will drop from monsters :
Cupcakes
Grog
Eggs
Bunnies
Clovers
Shamrock Ales
Hard Apple Ciders
Pumpkin Pies
Frosty and Mischievous tonics
Eggnogs
Spiked Eggnogs

-1 on having them all drop, +1 on having them available to get during the event

having all these items being able to drop would cause the drop chance for all of them being very low but instead have collectors in town that will trade for all the event type items would be useful

To be honest, I'm not really looking forward to the new content as much as I was before. The only way I'm going to start letting GW take up a significant amount of my time again is if a Gamer festival comes around, or ANet gives us some solid information on how we can expect to reap rewards from the HoM. The Gamer arenas this weekend are a given, and I expected that info so long ago that I'm pretty much removed of caring about it until they actually release it.

Of course, I'll be back to try out the new content that is released as the war develops, but I don't really see that as taking up a great deal of my time in-game.

yea you got a point there, I guess having a trophy collector would be almost as fun. Hopefully the trophies arent the hard to farm ones like Umbral Shells xD.

haha jk i say odd items from around the games things u wouldn't normally keep

a new mission, that you can only do if you have completed eotn, where the elder dragons awake and the cataclysmic events that are caused by it (which shape the world of GW2) happen at the end of the mission, white screen and then your reward is a 14 hour trial for GW2 beta!

that way you have a chance to try out GW2 and your introduced to how the world became the way it did after GW1.

an unnerf stick (5 uses) per account, when equiped it unnerf your skill bar for 30 minutes

You didn't remember. The 3rd birthday was Apr. 24 - Apr. 29 and 4th was Apr. 23 - Apr. 29. Since #5 is "bigger" shouldn't just as long be expected? At any rate, it's highly likely that however long, it will last until at least the 29th again since the actual birthday is the 28th (Wednesday).

How so? A creature can drop a Golden Egg and a Chocolate Bunny at the same time. Dropping one item doesn't exclude other items form dropping.

Imagine killing one raptor and having it drop a grog, a Cupcake, a Shamrock Ale and a Pumpkin Pie
