Weekend event....

Can it happen will it happen, will there be no weekend event for the first time in donkeys years in Guild Wars?

maybe it's the "lack of an event" weekend. thus making it an event.

Event details are always delayed (on the login screen) when they are planning something that revolves around a real world holiday.

St Patrick's Day, perhaps? Shamrock Ales, Four Leaf Clovers...

For some reason im expecting gw to update tonight, it is thursday, no weekend notification, which makes me wonder if they are planning something different.

I would like to believe the same thing, but alas we are talking about ArenaNet.... I hope to see something new, but not getting my hopes up too high.

St patties day is in the middle of next week. Wasn't sure if they were going to start the event this weekend or mid next week. (four leaf clover drops and shamrock ale). Either way there might be an update tonight + weekend event (pvp weekend)

same i want to beleive the best in ArenaNet.. but they typically show the worst.. we might get a weekend event of " we are working on getting Saint pattrcks day set up weekend". I still think its weird we arent seeing anything( jsut got on and i was about to post a thread here on the weirdness of it, but i gotten beaten to the punch). Maybe they will surprise us but im doubtful.. oh well we can only wait and see( and i hope we see something.. xD)

Pretty sure its going to be St Pats drops, nothing exciting for me, but I need to do stuff around the house anyway.

I was thinking the same thing, but wasn't going to say anything because of how people react to this kind of speculation. (They'll take it for FACT [it's NOT, people], and then QQ if there isn't anything new.)

Linsey has been saying stuff about typing up NPC dialogue all week on her Facebook. She also seems to have worked all night last night, and freaked out this morning when she realized it was Thursday.

There's a chance they're planning something, but I have a feeling that even if they are it wont be done in time (surprise!)

It has been run on the third weekend of March with the duration extended, if necessary, to cover the 17th of March, St. Patrick's Day.

The 17th is next Wednesday, so you could be right

Didnt we have lucky weekend already, it overlapped with the first weekend of Witnersday Redux no? Although nobody noticed it until a day later?

Yes, but this lucky weekend isnt that lucky weekend (unfortunately). This one is just St Pat drops (unless they change it).

17th is St Patricks day and the event was held on the third week of March so its all up in the air if its this weekend.

Yeah, im keeping a low profile in my head, before it starts to get to excited about features, skill updates and whatnot that wont come xD

I think they will do lucky weekend next week, starting from wednesday till sunday.
