Definetly HCT, you want to be in your high set as short as possible.

4 weapon sets....

40/40 sets are ftw...unless your build revolves around fast cast/recharge skills or skills that dont have a dedicated staff type, like an assacaster for example.

I think you missed the OP's point. They're talking about high energy sets, not 40/40.

OT: I'm with Artisan Archer on this one, you shouldn't be sat in the high set long enough for the +30 to make a difference.

You are not supposed to switch to high energy set with already low hp (you better die with energy hiding set).
20% HCT (2*10) allow you switch back to your previous set faster.

So take HCT for normal use of high energy set.

Exception for cases you plan to die with it, like (now failing) HA RTL gimmicks where 30hp is welcomed and where you won't get rezed.

4 sets ftw.

However, I would use 40/40 majority of time.

20% HCT on the High Energy set to be sure. If you're having to swap to your High set, it's already an emergency situation, and the HCT will be of far more benefit than +30hp.
