Nick items are usually nm farmed for ease and time - why fight a buffed hm foe when u can probably kill 2 nm foes in same time ?

Personally speaking I went with a 4 man team in nm

Me as fire ele, MM, Spirit spam and N/Rt healer heroes. More than enough firepower to cope with all mobs inc the Onis on the bridge. Got all the bone charms needed in a couple of stress-free runs around the crater

1 rit with a spirit wall, and a Necro with Ap, Shambling, Ymlad, Ebon sin, Finish him and blood from the master

10 shambbling horrors lvl 18, and a wall of spirits. Walk in the park. Nm ofcourse

just take 3 heroes, and a summoning stone if you have any spare
i got all my bone charms in 3 runs, about 10-13minutes a run, in NM

i suggest a fire ele(searing flames and other nuking skills) w/ maybe those new celestrial summoning stones if you want( i dont think they decrease the droprate and a little extra help never hurts.)

I took just a MM hero with me while farming in Rhea's Crater using spirit spam, worked fine as long are the mobs were small.

Amber chunks, it is realy worth farming them for gifts? I always thought amber was worth almost as much as one gift?

fastest way would be to buy from rare mat trader? looks like prices are going up -_-

edit: (not sure what current price of amber is)

Trader is out of stock, but the last price was 1.2k/Amber. ArenaNet has clearly lost its mind to ask for such an expensive and hard-to-get rare crafting material.

I posted some of the easiest ways to farm Kurzick faction (which is the easiest way to farm amber) on PvX.

Feel free to edit and change it if the information is wrong. Total it will take 75,000 Kurzick faction in order to get all 15 amber, so I strongly recommend doing FFF's if you don't want to buy them.
