Well, in the last GM talk in GW it was said that we might expect Dragon Arena in tournament form. On official site i don't see any info about it. Could you, Regina or Martin, confirm or deny this?

Hopefully there will be a Dragon Arena AT. Finnaly a tournament that will be decided by skill. And not this crappy dwayna/grenth mechanics.

These words could be copy pasted from this year. Now skill in DA doesn't matter that much, since bots will be there in Dragon Arena's aswell. Dodge bots make it possible to dodge from point black. But then again, a good player can do that aswell.

Would be awesome regardless of all sorts of small imbalances and things like bots.

Hopefully there's a upgrade in gamer points too. Hop on the 10 per round train like the rest of the games.

If they didn't announce it on the official page, I doubt it's going to happen. Would have been rather nice though.

Hard to say anything about point adjustments.

Meh, don't like Dragon Arena. Too simple.

Would prefer either getting rid of gamer points in DA, to get the syncers & grinders out in favor of people who enjoy playing it, or allowing full-team entering/ATs, to level the playing field in the other direction.

With gamer points removed, a lot of the people I know would most likely still play the arena and still sync enter, because playing alongside skillful and knowledgeable players, and being that many of them have known each other for months and years now, it would still be a lot more fun than grouping with possibly-retarded randoms.

If they're ever going to allow people to make their own teams for the arena, it ought to be in AT form.

At first I was thinking that an At for this would be amazing. Then I realised that it would actually be really bad. The dodge bot that is easily downloaded at qq forums would utterly destroy any chance of fairness in this arena/ At unless everyone was running it.

Nice idea for a DA At but would be really stupid if they did one.

Yes, it's obviously that some guilds would be using bots for impossible dodgind, but f*** this. For me and many others, event games are the best part of GW and making those into tournament form is a great idea. Just look how many guilds take part in snowball ATs everyday.

lol so you're saying that people who sync don't enjoy Dodgeball? Quite the contrary. I find events boring unless I'm playing with friends to make it more interesting. Getting rid of gamer points for any events would be....stupid.

People QQ so much about syncers - anyone can sync. It's not hard, it's not a cheat, it's just people playing with other friends.

But, obviously, since this makes teams "unfair" because certain sync groups actually know how to play the game, people QQ.

I, for one, hope that there is DA ATs this year.
