In this times, when uw is dead, and u (a casual not hardcore player) dont have anything to farm, i just went to Tombs and killing mobs with my perma Cryer solo (ecto drop is medium but sometimes very low).

One day, 3-4 guildies came to do the same thing, and we decided to do a full run with permas, instead of each solo, just for fun, not for drops.

Looked on wiki, and saw a soh/succ monk would help us.

In a team of 6 we went to tombs. There we owned at the first 3, but at 4th darkness killed us.

Besides this thing, we had a lot of fun, and done the same thing 1 day after, not nearly with same peeps, but we did it.

And now i want to ask you if will be worth to make a TombsSC, because for me it was a lot of fun, and deserved even if just 1-2 ectos dropped.

Is it?

The reason people do UWSC is not for the ectos, but for the end chest. Ectos are just a plus.

I used to love tomb runs the B/P group, I made a ranger solely for this purpose. The drops sucked, but it was fun to complete. Took a couple hours though, but I would deff. do it again. It sucks the game has evolved into people only interested in making the most money in the fastest amount of time. There used to be people who just had fun playing. Maybe its a generational thing and I'm getting too old, but I can have fun in grand theft auto by just blowing stuff up. I don't go read guides to find the fastest possible way to beat the game, but that's just me.

I never bothered to get that far into it. Mowing people down with a tank, and camp the hospital with a rocket launcher was too much fun. Oh and Dual Master level Desert Eagles and I solo'd ever gang property in San Andreas >.< (Sorry off topic a little.)

Most of the people in my guild still do SC's (Aka slow clears) of dungeons and stuff the problem is the rapidly diminishing population. There is nothing left in the game to grab you so you can stop playing for a few days and not remember it until two weeks later. At least with WoW you had to remember when the raid days were each week.

I think Anet needs to revamp the elite areas in Proph. tough to find groups that are willing to do it anymore. Although I'm sure a speed clear build would come up and that would be all that will work if they did that, probably a lost cause.

yeah, if u wanted pure ecto, just farm em solo. faster than teams. uwsc is getting through uw fast as possible to get to chest and hope u get and uber rare item from chest. the end greens are no longer worth anything in tombs, therefore kinda pointless to SC it

Triple the price? even if they did Tombs would be raided so hard until everyone had the skins, making them 1-2k again

ToPK has been around for ages. Anyone who wanted them greens already got them by now. For the rest of you, well you can buy them for dirt cheap anyways. Demand dried up a long time ago.

For all of you who didn't read all my first post, i said to do this JUST FOR FUN.
Like TheRemedy said, some people (this number lessens a lot in this days) want to make a game to be fun not to be necesarely rich.

So, i understand that if i make a guide, it wont have succes 'cuz lots of ppl are greedy.

In tombs you have to kill everything (more or less) on each level, so my guess would be to use tank&spank. Two teams with 1 tank and 3 spikers each?

Even if you made a speedclear for tombs no one would do it because its not worth doing it, yes some people enjoy it for the fun of it even I do, but lets face it 90% of the Gw pop are interested in earning gold fast.
