What Wintersday drops?

This is not supposed to be a QQ thread. I just need some answers, if there are any. I have been running around killing raptors and vaettir since the start of the event, but have hardly anything to show for it. I do not even have 50 of each item and have been at it for days. So here is my question(s):

Is it just me?
Is it loot scaling?
Does anyone else experience this?

The loot scaling part should not be possible:
But where is my drops?

In someone's pockets?

On topic i've had the same problem, all i can say is keep at it. :/

Must just be you, I had around 50-60 of eggnog, summoners, and fruitcakes after 20 vaettir runs (about 4 minutes per run). Shards were dropping pretty slow, but I switched to farming Strength of Snow so I could go AFK for 10 minutes and still get something, vaettirs were boring me to death.

Man i didn't even know they were dropping at all, gotta get farming i guess.

Sometimes drops just plain suck for me as well, how long have things been dropping though?

I recently came back to the game and i found out that doing the snowman thing as any/N was not as profitable as it use to be. Makes me think that they did toy around with the drop rate/loot scalling thing.

Wintersday drops have always been low. It's far better to farm quests or trophy items for collectors. Let the raptors have a peaceful Xmas.

raptors dont drop event items good at all i discovered this last year. do feather farm its what i am doing and getting nice drops their. also getting holiday drops when i do the holiday quests from each area.

i suggest farming the snowball dominece quest w/ a necro and a ranger.. it takes 1 minute, and you get ; 500g, 500 vanguard points(which are normally insane to farm),5,000 exp and 5 frosty tonics.. all in 1 minute . So if u do it right and get out of the area and change servers and stuff for the quests quickly this is an easy way to get a snowman tonic stack in roughly 50 mins. Have fun.. now im gonna go watch the snowman tonic market drop much more then it already is doing xD.

I was leeching a Raptor farmer (W/N), and the drops filled my chat box (stretched to the top of my screen) every time he finished. I personally haven't gotten much, but I don't really farm.

I have been repeating Ft Ranik mission - lots of charr carvings to exchange for wintersday stuff, and a fair amount of stuff dropping.I'm also grabbing a ton of lucky points on the chests.
