GWS on a HD5870

FINALLY was able to purchase the Saphire 5870 i wanted. Its in the mail and i was wondering if anyone reading this is playing gws on one(any 5870 using ATI's drivers) . Any issues?

GWS? If you are referring to Guild Wars (GW commonly) - then rest assured that it will be flawless and give you insane FPS with any of the Guild Wars games/expansions.

i have a 4670 and it performs at peak conditions so...
used to have a ge force 6800{agp} - it maxed gw all settings fine
i assume... yours will be equal

I get 300-450 FPS in most areas @1920x1200, 8xSSAA, 16xAF with Catalyst AI enabled. Suffice to say... Guild Wars got owned.

picture quality is amazing. I wasnt really asking about performance, ati's sometimes subpar drivers are the main reason i usually go with nvdia. No problems so far though, am really pleased. Runs hot under load !

Don't you need a monitor with an insane refresh rate in order to display that frame rate without tearing?

How did you get 8x anti analysing with guildwars? in the options I can't pick more then 4x

"Catalyst AI Enabled" - You do it through the Catalyst Control Center that you generally install with your ATI drivers.
