A few artists I have talked to will know I was trying to think of a fun, interesting concept for you guys to try your hand at to get your woolly mitts on the wing codes.
I was really inspired by the deathly appearance of Dhuum in the underworld. (Not to mention worried for my royal behind) And then it clicked, why not have them draw Dhuum in a legendary confrontation with his first opponent, the guardian of his very prison, Frozenwind.
So, In a nutshell if you so wish, I would like you to draw Dhuum vs. The original Frozenwind.
The RulesThe picture must be either digitally drawn/scratch built or use traditional techniques The piece must include both "Daniel Frozenwind" and "Dhuum" The theme of the picture is of a legendary confrontation between Daniel Frozenwind (My player character, not the NPC.) and Dhuum. This contest is open to anyone who feels they want to have a go; I still have other prizes for people that try! No Rabbits. I hate Rabbits. Closing date 1st of February The portrayal of Dhuum is left to the artist's discretion, but must fit his character and lore.

Year by year, Daniel succumbs more and more to the form of an Ice Elemental, slowly turning into a facet of ice, in doing so preserving his immortal soul. Such is the legacy of Myish, Lady of the Lake and King Lanthorn the Cursed, said to be, among the Norn the precursor to the Nornbear. It is rumoured he found solace in the lair of the snowmen, where he resigned himself to his icy fate and prayed to the Gods one last time. In the faded Dwarven runes from the journal of King Hundar, it speaks that Grenth first visited this barely human man, and bid him welcome into the icy depths of the Underworld, where the spirits of the Ice Wastes awaited him. Clasping his arms (saturating his spirit with icy immortality) he began to draw his essence into the Underworld. If not for the timely arrival of a well placed snowball, Daniel would be no more. Overcome with sheer dumbfounded amazement, he witnessed a certain feminine elf casually saying to the Lord of Death and Ice, "Why you’re Godship, it seems you have a snowball on your head!"
Grenth cursed him for his father’s crimes and for resisting death, thus making him an Envoy. It would seem that Frozenwind did not fully come under Grenth's power, due to the intervention of the mysterious elf. It is known that every Envoy bears the mark of that which killed them, the ice had put Daniel at the brink, but had not killed him. It was then that Dwayna blessed him, and he became a Snowman.
Envoys are shepherds of the souls of the dead, but unlike them, Envoy Frozenwind is a shepherd of the holiday spirit. As an Envoy will appear to a newly departed soul, Envoy Frozenwind appears when festivities are on the air. His tasks on Wintersday are numerous, but the main ones are to summon the Wintersday creatures Elf and Grench alike to Tyria, remind people of what makes Wintersday and try to sway the balance in favour of Dwayna.
Frozenwind has taken up this mantle at Wintersday since before the war between Kryta and Ascalon. There are records of his original name in an ancient Ascalon census dating back to the time of the founding of Nolani, suggesting that he was once a Flaming Sceptre Mage. Scholars insist that if this mysterious spirit existed, he would rival the age of the many long dead legends. The last known residence of this oddity of Ascalonian origin was in a tower in an area known simply as "Wizards Folly", although quiet whispers speak of Frozenwind as an Envoy-King residing in the underworld, guarding the Hall of Judgement from something worse then death itself…
