E/Me HM Raptors. I use MoR, but in theory the nerf shouldn't stop the build from working as before.

There's a catch, I use Green, Blue and Red Rock every run, plus a cupcake to get from
-50% to +33% or so. Why waste sweet pts right?

Is it just me or is anyone else getting ridiculous ping lag ever since the event started, funny thing is its fine when im standing in Rata Sum outpost, constant green - 90-130ms, yet as soon as I enter Riven Earth I get a constant 700-800ms spiking up to 1500ms which is making farming extremly annoying since with that kind of ping you rubberband back alot, seems weird that this has happened as soon as the event started since I was farming Raptors a few hours before with no lag at all, wonder if Anet somehow made it so you get uber lag in Riven Earth to make Farming harder.

Lag like this happens when everyone logs onto an major event and slows the servers down. Canthan New Year is an example

You can use SF at least 3 times, giving degen enough time to kill raptors. There isn't a lot of time for picking up drops, and you can't kill the boss...but it works

edit: switch out deadly for vipers, you'll just have to die and reapawn

Just curious, how much damage do you need to whirlwind nestlings only in hm. Cause I don't have my warrior there to run the mark of pain variant to kill boss. So I was gonna attempt a p/w variant to try and kill just the nestlings in hardmode. But I don't know if I will have enough damage with say 12 sword and by ural's hammer.

There's a W/P variant to kill just the nestlings minus the boss, so a P/W reversed should do the trick. The key is to aggro as many raptors as possible, so that Hundred Blades multiplies. You can also auto-attack once with Wary Stance up to trigger a small HB AoE before you bomb them with Whirlwind. 12 in sword should be enough with ~33+boss to multiply HB.

edit: Tested in hard mode: 12 sword is enough to kill the nestlings without BUH if you aggro the whole cave.

Alternately, it doesn't take long to run to Rata Sum from Boreal Station to farm as warrior.

After farming Jaya Bluffs for the last 2 years I can tell you all without reservation; kill them slowly. I used to gather agro and kill using VwK, spirit rift, a-rage and LoD. I get much better results using a max degen build: VwK, rad field, poisoned heart, suffering, IAU, soothing memories, generous was tsungrai and necrosis for finishing off darkfeathers. Attributes are 13 soul-reaping, 9 curses, 12 restoration. I even found that pumping curses up to the point where suffering did 3 degen had a bad effect on drops. Using my old build I did the birdies in 11 minutes and got pitiful feathers and armor drops. With the degen build I take 13 minutes but get around 400 (best run was 121 feathers) feathers an hour with excellent blue/purple armor and non-max rare item drops, plus more frequent white/black dye drops. I hope this helps those who dual-farm in Jaya this weekend
