Wooot, noon Fri - midnight TUESDAY Talk Like A Pirate Event I loved this last year, got a lot of grog, I love the fact that it has a timer! Nice that it's long this year, remember a lot of people missed on it last year because it was short and unannounced!

If'n the grob be droppin, me wench an' 'er ashes be pillagin' them sharp-toothed scallywags!

I hope I'm not the only one thinking this event is as lame as it gets. Seriously, an event around NPC chatter? Really?

Find it as lame as you like, I'll be happily farming Grog for 5 days.

The thing is the annoucement doesn't say anything about Grog dropping:| but re-reading the OP I guess it will, I withdraw my previous post.

Not just NPCs, on Saturday at least. Yay vent. Gonna annoy some people in the old alliance. ^_^

Heh, im pretty sure they'll let the grog dop. (or maybe we'll see something different!)

Rata Sum will be packed though im guessing.

Love this event, it will save me lots of cash in terms of Alcohol.

TV's and Stereo's will be dropping from monsters throughout the Tyria Region.

I sincerely doubt we'll get something different. Delayed updates, skill updates starting to happen only once every 2 months, the XTH, etc. lead me to believe that it will just be grog.

what's the best place to farm grog? raptors or vaettirs?

I either find a way to fast farm grogs as a Monk, or I'll need to rapid-build a PvE char for this and run him to Rata Sum!

Wherever you can kill the fastest (probably raptors now). Special event items are not affected by the anti-farm code, so just whatever you can kill faster.
