amount of energy for a perma?

i recently made a perma for use in farming, but it seems i dont have enough energy. i currently have 47 and i have all the correct runes and stuff, i use droknar's staff. what would be a better weapon to use to get a higher energy level?

There's so many threads about this exact topic...this is as easy as farming gets.

Just use a staff w/ +20%enchat and +20 energy and you're all good.

+5 head
+10 inherit
+5 inscription
+20% enchant staff wrapping

If you are using the perma to run then high energy is important - a staff as suggested above would be best.

However, if you are farming then energy replacement is more important than high initial energy. Use zealous daggers or, if farming aatxes with deadly riposte, a zealous spear.

With most enemy balls a zeal scythe can be more efficient than zeal daggers. Again watch out for riposte-using foes.

Radiants help.

For 20E staff use +5E/enchanted to prevent energy loss if you're under 50% for any reason since SF should never be stripped anyways.

Around 45-50 energy, with your staff equipped is best, so what you have is fine, imo.
