Here's a bigger picture (and I mean big, long loading time). you can see them in the small picture too, but this one is clearer, so, are those modern city scape in the background?

Thanks for that link, yes that is rather strange. That does seem a little too modern to be GW2. I wonder if GW2 will have visions of the future (maybe chronomancers make an appearance?)

What are they constructing on the construction yard? Space ship?
Indeed Pumpkin pie, it looks like a modern city in the distance.
The longer I look at that bigger picture of the construction yard, the more high tech stuff I notice.
There seems to be people working in the thing (where you see the teal lights, laser cutters? One man standing at a workbench?) At that part you also see lights in the ceiling. Also one big pillar a little more to the left has the typical modern construction colours painted on, orange and black stripes.
Regina can you confirm if this is GW2 concept art or not? Tx!

In passing, here's what I've found too:
Pics that Kekai and other Anet artteam members show in the ImagineFX magazine (#44, June 2009): There's a very nice Char on page 41, a Water Djinn/Margonite with four arms on page 44, the 2 IntoThePixel winners plus other nice pics (one looking like a City of Ascalon? one from Utopia IIRC, a very nice lady with an eagle, a futuristic city?) on page 52-53, a centaur on page 63.
(I can't find them on the Net and won't scan them for risk of infringing Copyrights)
Also these pictures which are also on deviantart
EDIT: nice finds pumpkin!

First image: Sylvari version of Abbadon crossed with a Kurzick Juggernaut?
This is what happens when you let kids take care of your plants.
The filename says DRUID ... oh... shall this be the 2009/10 version of the Maguuma Druids?
Second image: Seems to be a knight, champion, hero, whatever. I have this "Lancelot" image in mind when I see him. Darker armor gives him a sinister touch.
But do you see the statue/monument head in the background? Looks again quite Abaddonish, is it maybe Dhuum/Menzies? Finally victorious or so?
Third image: Norns? Or some kind of Yeti?
Pumpkin pie's one image indeed looks like an "ebon hawk" (or well, more ivory...^^), so it is most likely indeed the fortress Ebonhawke. Especially as the filename says "Ebonhawke"...
Any more pics floating around?
