Anyone here care about getting a moss spider

I sure do.. As someone wanting to become an entomologist, I must say, I absolutely LOVE insects and creatures similar to them (The moss spider being an arachnid, in this case).
I'm saving zcoins for it, and after that I'm going to run it all the time in IWAY HA groups. But what about you guys? What do you think of the Moss Spider? People have wanted to cap them for awhile and they're finally here.

bought a egg the day they came out was a bit pricey for something i will never use (85k + 1 stack of eggs) but worth it

pets are useless
besides a couple of different dmg types they are all the same

I want one for sure, but I'll be damned if I'm going to pay 80k++ for it. I saw one the other day for 40k, I should've bought it and sold it for 80k++. I just don't see the logic in buying one for so much. If you can wait a while, the price will drop. It's not like they're a "limited time only" thing.

I'd like one but in no rush to get one. One day Nick's gifts will contain one for me. It could be in 2 days or it could be in 2 years. I'm not really fussed which.

But I've used up all of my luck for Nicholas' gifts (as Kamara already knows). So I expect that I'll get a moss spider egg about when Guild Wars 7 is released.

Man, I'm glad somebody still remembers this. I still cannot believe that ArenaNet, having a spine of a jellyfish, decides to do a "pre-emptive nerf" on red-crowned cranes because apparently they are endangered and/or symbolic.

Tigers are also endangered and symbolic by some cultures but apparently it's allowed to whack as many as you like in the game. Probably because nobody wrote in to complain about it.

Or maybe somebody used their brain and realized that none of it is real, just like killing your best friend/neighbor in PvP is NOT REAL. I mean, it takes some real hypocrisy to allow slashing somebody in the face with an axe in PvP, but then be offended by watching some bird die because it's "cruel and inhumane."

For those that don't get it, let me put it this way: Many game companies defend their choices to put in controversial content in their games. If companies were fearful of controversy, then Grand Theft Auto would have never been created in the first place. But rather than stand up for themselves, ArenaNet just changed content in advance rather than risk the chance of offending some political group. What a disgrace.

I still don't know what pet I want for my Ranger. A Moss Spider could be interesting. Don't know if it would fit her character though.

I guess China has a better "EULA" than GW ...

I don't get what the big deal is about the moss spider. It is not like this is the first time a spider has been tameable (i.e. Underworld spider).

last i checked moss eggs were 50-60k. But, I have to say why not get a run in UW and get that spider. How big would the difference be? I think they could have been a little more inventive though with the egg hatching (ahh the old pokemon days)

The Moss Spider is cooler and shows prestige. Kind of like elite armor.

Here's a question, do you have to have 50k balth on you atm just to buy it?

15k is my limit, that's what I'm concerned with.
