Have you ever been banned by ANET?

With all the I have been banned threads that pop up, I was curious as to how many people have actually been banned. If you have please let us know why, for how long and lastly was it deserved (please be as honest as possible)? I have been playing almost 4 years without even a threat of banning; How about you?

for 2 years, was banned once for name (72 hours)...yes, deserved

Got banned for reporting an offensive guild name, but with "bad intentions (trying to inflict harm upon the guildmembers.)

I wouldnt ever belive they would be banned, but they did (after alot of discussing they got only their tag changed, so all is fine now)

I got banned for 2weeks.

Well they did break the policy (Offensive in any language) - but my intentions was indeed bad - so YES DESERVED (Altough 5accounts ftw^^)

I was banned once, it was while i was working on treasure hunter.

I was perma banned for using 3rd party programs, must have been reported because i was constantly zoning in and out of the outpost every minute or two. I contacted support and they investigated my case and after a week they reversed their decision. It should also be noted that i had not and never will use a 3rd party program.

Yes, for an offensive name, 72 hours. If someone actually did find it offensive then I guess it was deserved.

Playing since Beta, not one ban. Currently have a couple characters in hiding due to the whole polish swear word incident. Not willing to pay $15 to correct them.

PS, if anets find it out and u get banned.

You get 72hours ban then you can change the name for FREE!

Playing since the Prophecies servers went live. No bans from ANet, no problems with ANet in 4 years. Never been in trouble on WoW either.

Got warning notes from mods on this board a couple times for being an evil old cuss, but no ban.

I've had a 72 hour and it was deserved

Twice, 72 hours two times. first one,gonna give you the hole story here, Was doing doa back in the ursan days, was going good, barely needed to do anything (Was monk). was accused of leeching , died in middle of stygian veil and no1 rezed me. so there i was on the ground just waiting for them to get to foundry (You need all party members to be in the first room) and then all hell brake loose. was pretty much diserved i suppose.. but i was mad i missed out on the gemstone drops.

Second time , i cant remember for the life of me what i did. so im gonna say undiserved.

4 years, no ban.

72 hour ban for E-molesting Gaile Grey.

I was banned for 72 hours around Christmas time for using bad language I believe it was.

However, I actually did nothing wrong and after appealing through the support, I received an official apology as they admitted their mistake.

Almost 4 years of GW and 7 bans for pretty much everything besides 3rd party programs.

Calling some people the n word. 72hour ban. Once, 4years playing.

Of course I've been banned from numerous other games/forums/chat rooms/websites, etc.

no, i always obey the laws *feels proud* xD
