how to know your NCsoft account from your gw account ??

Hi guys. I made an NCsoft account so that I can get the promotional tab. I get to the screen where it asks me to link my gw account asking for my account name and password. I entered my gw account name (my email) and the password i use for gw and then i get this message:

"The specified account is already linked to another NCsoft account. Please contact Customer Support if you require additional help."

but I dont know about any other NCsoft account. I dont know the username or password of that other NCsoft account. I purchased gw since 4 years ago and all the campaigns are purchased from retailers over the years. the only online purchases are the expansion (eotn) and some unlocks.

is there a way I can know the NCsoft master account that is linked to my guildwars account ?!

any other way except the first time you use the shop

so you guys saying that i wont be able to know the main NCsoft account that is linked to my gw account ?!

File a support ticket, sounds like that's your only option. Or, if you remember what your PlayNC account name is (And you had to set one up if you bought anything from the store), then you could try the 'forgot my password' link on the website.

I have the exact same problem buddy . Let me know if you figure this one out *sigh*

same problem here. I asked them many many months ago, because I have no idea what e-mail address I created my playNC account with, nor the account name or password. I know none of it, and, I KNOW that I created one and linked my account... Its a mess...

I have the same problem, and I have no recollection of creating an NCsoft account when I bought my extra character slots from the in-game store.

Oh well... ticket filed, now to wait for a few weeks hoping it doesn't get lost among the many people filing similar tickets.

I suspect I'll need access to this mysterious NCsoft account to link my GW account to my GW2 account in years to come, so I really hope this can be resolved.

Where exactly does one go to fill out a ticket?

The NCsoft website is running terribly slow and neither the login screen or creating account screen will load for me to actually try the missing password stuff....

How did you get there? I created the account, but I've been going all over Hell's half acre trying to find some link or documentation to tell me how to link my GW account.

since you already have created an account then go here:

from there click the buy storage tab ... it will ask you for your NCsoft account ... after you enter it it will tell you that there is no gw account linked to your NCsoft account and there will be a button that you can use to link your gw account to your NCsoft account ... but if you have ever bought something from the online store like we did then it will tell you that you gw account is linked to another NCsoft account and you are out of luck just like the rest of us

same problem here.. the thing is i remember the ncsoft account.. and yet no games linked.. i already filled in a report last sat .. waiting for feedback
