In the Ingame store, besides the new storage tabs, there are new items available:

Makeover Pack - lets you change hair color and style, face, skin color and height of an existing character
Extreme Makeover - lets you change the above and the gender of an existing character
Character Name Change - lets you change an existing character's name (giving the example of "Your Old Name [ Boo ]" to "Your New Name [ Yay ]" Funny.)
Pet Unlock Pack - get all evolutions of all non-prestige pets unlocked

Go check it out from the character selection screen. Pretty interesting!

im raged that the ncsoft store is the only way to get the free pane the stupid site keeps laging out.

I just find it funny that the name change is $15, while the character recustomization is $10.

Disproportionate much?

I have a feeling the name change is going to be much more popular than the character recustomisation. Makes sense to me to charge more for it. :P

Just wait till tomorrow or the next day. After everyone else has gotten their free storage panel, the site should load a bit better.

I think name change require some database modification and not to mention the dreading customized weapon and armors, so consider the work involved, it is reasonable to be more expensive.

I wouldn't change ur name straight away. Don't forget all ur armour is customised to ur current name. There are cases where people change their name and cant wear/ weild anything coz it is all customised to their old name. Wait for this bug to be fixed. I no i will be. Dont wanna lose my 20/20 max dmg req 8 storm bow and full ancient armour on my ranger.

What I find funny are the makeover packs. You can get 5 normal ones, or a single extreme one which is exactly the same, except it can do gender. and both cost the same.


I think out of all the things you can change the gender would be the simplest, since it only has 2 values. Why the quintuple price?

There's no bug..it was confirmed.
1 Person reported a bug, only 1 and Regina confirmed there wasn't actually a that account.

Get over it.. Even subscription based MMO's charge real money to redesign characters.

Considering we're paying nothing for GW, I have no problems with occasionally having to pay for little things like this, especially considering the £6 lets you redesign 5 characters.

Although I do agree the name change and the tabs are a little overpriced.
