Biggest mmorpg party of all time!

That's right! Coming very very soon is the biggest online gaming community party in the history of online gaming community parties. Why? That's for you to figure out. It begins at 12:01 AM PST, April 20, 2009 in Quarrel Falls in Prophecies, Europe - German - District 1. This party will be the BEST! It will have everything: alcohol, games, fantastic prizes, and much more! Much time and money has been put in to making this party happen. It WILL be the greatest online party ever. You don't want to miss this. It starts at 12:01 AM, which is precisely when me and my guild and few other people who are putting it on will show up. Be there. There is one simple rule: you gotta wear green!!! Wear whatever attire you want, just make sure it's green.

1) Don't speak in absolutes.
2) Biggest or best? I doubt biggest (topping what, six districts *that's for biggest GW party* is unlikely)
3) More info. Not many will want to go if you just say "alcohol, games, fantastic prizes, and much more"
4) Why German? Sounds like it'll all be in german which reduces a good amount of playerbase as not that many - as a whole - would know german to the extent of being able to easily participate in anything.

5) "me and my guild and few other people who are putting it on will show up" - 2 things on this, first, who is your guild (and any other guilds that helped)? Second, I suggest the hosts show up prior, as even a one district event will fill up rather quickly if there is a decent amount of people and the staff not able to get in=bad.

6th and last - "you gotta wear green" why? explain.

If you want this to be the "biggest" party in all mmorpg games (which is, like I said, highly impossible), you need to give details or else only the curious and bored will show. Not bashing on you, but rather giving you advice since, well, you pretty much act like a politician in saying next to nothing when people need info.

I doubt that. just take a look at the other announcements that other guild post when they are making a party and you'll see why your post fails.

As Konig mentioned before, how can you prove its the biggest?
Will it beat the SCAR community party event?
How much of everything is being given away, and how much do you estimate the total giveaway price is?
What "fantastic" prizes are begin given away?
Why German district?
Why midnight PST?
If it is the biggest, how can you hold everything on one character?

Im sorry, im sure this is just a very hyperbolic hyperbole. Im sure Konig is going to say my Halloween plans are, but im not sure how you can beat 1000 ectos, 1000 golds (all q9) and much much more with just a few people.

Based on this, and the amount of overall costs, it's unlikely but possible (especially since you said by yourself)

This Monday, April 20, 2009, me and 7 friends are hosting a community event. A couple of the are from my guild, others are just friends. I would hope the point of the event is obvious, it appears it is not. If so, use urban dictionary, it's your friend . This should also explain why the theme is green, and why I would appreciate it if everyone wore green. The German district was for no real reason other than that I like Germany. The event will not be in German, I am not German, it was just for fun; but I am changing that. It will now be hosted in Quarrel Falls, International District 1. The even will be hosted in English. It was asked why it starts at 12:01 AM PST. This is because ANet goes by -8GMT for all its events, and I live in -8GMT; as well as for the more obvious reason which is that that's when the day 4/20/2009 begins. The events at the party will include a costume contest (prizes given to top 5), a scavenger hunt (prize only given to winner), a trivia game (prize given to top 3), "Mary Says" (prizes given to top 5), and also quite a few more fun events. Prizes will include all colors of mini pets (always unded), gold, zkeys, ectos, dye of all color, alcohol, sweets, tonics, gold weapons, and we have collected nearly 1 of each green item in the game, and we intend to have at least 1 of every green by Monday; we have more than 1 of many of the greens, not on all though. There are also more prizes but I don't want to give them all away. Alcohol will be given to everyone throughout the party. We don;t know exactly how much each person will get yet but it will be a good amount. Plus, many of the prizes will be sums of alcohol. This party was thought of almost a year ago, and has actually been in the making for about 8 months. So maybe it won't be the best party ever, but it'll be one hell of a party, and I really hope a lot of people will show up. Did I miss anything?

Seriously though, ambiguity is not your friend if you're trying to drum up a good party. If people are going to show up, they'll want to know why - especially if it's for something from urban dictionary and not for an 'actual' event.

Sorry, but the 20th of April being Hitlers real birthday (thanks for the heads up on that König, checked that up on Wiki) and just randomly being a party in honour of something which you dont want to post and it being randomly hosted in the German Districts just is too much of a convenience. I think I will just enjoy Monday and remememebr how much better the World is with that idiot dead and rotting.

I beleive the 30th of April would be a better day to celebrate him... the day the coward shot himself .

If its not the reason why you want to host a party on that day in a German district and for the guests to be in Uniform Green, then please post a beleivable reason for it instead of; "That's for you to figure out"

The green uniform suggests that it goes towards the pot day thing.

Due to cops reporting in finding weed smokers as "4-20", according to urban dictionary, people started smoking pot at that day, or at 4:20. >_> And they wear green. yeah... I hate urban dictionary. :P
