GW2 Pre-Order

I found this today while looking into buying GW for a friend (who now has to wait if this means what I hope it means).

I hate assuming anything when it comes to anet/ncsoft and the logic behind how/why they do what they do, so I will leave it up to others

If this has been posted already I apologize, but nothing returned on my search.

Yep it has. Nothing interesting or important, just ignore it.

ANet/NCSoft have little control over the retailer preorder process. You should ignore any information regarding release dates and prices until it comes from them.

Just to emphasize what was said in the posting above mine:

If you do not find it on our official website - ignore it.
Rest assured that we will be the first to let you all know about important things like release dates through our official channels.

im not pre-ordering unless its on the guild wars site and its Collectors Edition

I spotted this last week too. I see no logical reason to pre-order GW2 this early in advance. I mean, I'm assuming it will be much like GW1 where you can simply download the client and purchase the access key. If we do have to buy the cd, however, I'm sure they will be readily available come release day.

Ill be waiting till gamestop offers it Collectors edition of course ^^.

/agree... Collector's Edition... But I want to get mine from ANET Direct... unless you have to buy a box from a store somewhere else to get it.
