All lag or disconnection posts should be made here. This will help us to keep track of larger network issues, such as when entire countries or regions are having network problems. It will also cut down on the amount of forum clutter.

Please also check these threads here and here to make sure the network problems you're having aren't easily solvable.

Started happening yesterday. I just lost two matches in hb-at because of dc/couldn't connect to game. Also in pve it freezes to connecting 0% and throws me out of the game soon after. Can't connect to game atm.

I'm from Finland.

Can't connect at time of this post. Sometimes gets stuck on Account login, sometimes on area loading screen and now not even on main menu. ><

EDIT: The official Wiki isn't accessible either at the time of happening 10pm (GMT+1)
EDIT2: Game still inaccessible after 30mins, It gets stuck on Connecting To ArenaNet status.

I can't connect to the game at all (I get code 58). Can't access Guild Wars official site either. I had some problems with my ISP and Guild Wars in the past, but only for a day or so.

I had been getting horrid lag spikes yesterday. It threw me out of the game 3 times in 5 minutes. Aswell as mnay other times outside of that span. Once when I was 25 kills(or so) from being done a vanquish and I couldn't reconnect. Then another during a jq match and I could reconnect.

I am in America, East Coast, Maryland

Edit: Haven't been on today. I guess I can assume they are still happening. I am about to try and log right now.

Same problem, same location. (ISP is TDC).

Well i've been able to connect today but now I get code=058. I've been having it several times today. There is nothing wrong with my local network so I think something at arenanet is goeing wrong.

I can play all other online games, I can surf the net like normal, didn't change anything to my router settings but i just can't login .

Do you think it could be related to the issue which was discussed in the thread below? (Which I also suffered problems of).

I'm getting lag-spikes every 5 minutes,and for some reason,in areas like Kamadan,GToB and Random Arenas (Outpost) I have less lag than areas without any foes/players,like "Consulate".

I started with small lag spikes yesterday morning, but was fine that evening. Then the lag started up again this morning and hasn't let up. It is taking me 10 plus minutes just to log in.

I'm in CoF right now, and everyone is having severe ping problems. I had 26 second ping. One of the guys is in Boston, MA, I'm in Anaheim California.

in the morning times guild wars runs almost without lags but after that, the lags huge and i cant move, and than i get disconnect with 007 code (007 is cool^^).
i live in israel.

Having lag problems. Ping spikes into yellow and red at random. This is happening in American AD1 for me. I live on the west coast in the USA in Washington.

EDIT 1: I can access the main GW site and the Wiki just fine.

I got bad lag problems yesterday when I played, got disconnected several times when doing a mission.

My whole guild was having problems earleri. This includes people from Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the US. It seemed like the server kept stalling

I am getting two different things.

1. Lag spikes where my ping goes up to 15,000 for 5 to 10 seconds then I rubber band like crazy, this is not that unusual for internet games and only really happens a few times a week. Same thing has happened occasionally for me on games like D2 and CoX.

2. This one is unique to GW. My game ( characters ) totally freeze and no matter what I click nothing happens, my ping says 130 to 150 and all is green, It is like the server just died for 10 seconds. Then when my game becomes responsive again the last 10 seconds play out in less than 1/10 a second ( hyper speed ). I know this is not my internet connection because when this happens I immediately switch to my second PC and quickly log into City of Heroes and everything is fine.


This has only started happening in the last 3 weeks.

Lag was horrible yesterday. Lagged but didn't disco about every 20 or so minutes from around 9-12pm Eastern.

US, Ohio, Cincinnati area. Our provider is Time Warner Cable. Our friend in Indy was also having the same problem - his provider is Brighthouse.
