Lucky aura

Has anybody figured out what this does yet? Apparently the bad luck one makes you act like you are drunk.

I vanquished a whole area with the lucky aura and didnt notice any difference.

Did you open any chests and notice more golds? I believe that's what it "supposedly" does.

Oh, well I guess the effect could be pawned off on "better chest drops" But that seems like something you just cant gauge.
Aura or not, sometimes i get all gold chest drops, sometimes i get all req13 purple.

I think it's just a joke by anet.
It wouldn't take them so damned long to clear up what it does.

People figured it out 2 years ago. It doesn't do a thing, other than spawning text and colors.

No benefits have been proven to date, although it is *possible* that the Lucky Aura does grant some bonus. There is a good discussion on GuildWiki here speculating about its possible effects.

But really, it probably does absolutely nothing.

Did you, perhaps, search? Or use the wiki? Those two options will render just as much info as anyone here.

I mean, you could have posted to get the attention of a certain wandering CR, but you have a better shot of doing that if you had gone to a wiki page and post. Or maybe if you closed your eyes very tight and wished very hard...

If someone wishes to contribute serious evidence for the Lucky Aura having a practical benefit -- evidence that decisively concludes an argument otherwise dominated for years by anecdotes and conjecture -- you may ask to have the thread reopened.
