No Sound In GW

For some reason im getting no sound at all from Guild Wars, I pressed F11 to check if the sound was up, And there all at max.

I tried to listen to music to see if i got any sound at all, And i do.

I do not know why im not getting sound from GW, Is there anything i can do to fix this?

my first guess would be to check your volume mixer. maybe you muted guild wars and don't remember
if that doesn't work, idk. corrupt gw.dat?

GW.DAT Can not be corrupt, I only just re-installed it onto a new lap top a week ago.

And i have played GW 2 times since.
It has to be something else.

has your sound card driver changed recently?

Are you running it on Vista or XP?

Your gw.dat file could be corrupt, just because you reinstalled it a week ago doesn't mean it can't be corrupted...

The laptop i have is also a week old, Theres nothing on it to corrupt any file on it.

All sounds works fine exept for GW.
Is there a sound file in GW?

I can check it, See if something could be wrong in it.

If you are using linux it is a problem that occurs with some laptops and there is an easy enough fix for it. What OS are you using ?

I found out how i can sound to work, Its strange but it works.
Sound only works if i have no internet pages open before i open guild wars.
