Hotkeys for HeroeS!?!

Is it possible for me to set hotkeys for heroes. I am running discordway with a friend and we want to set hotkeys so by pressing 1 button each of our heroes willl use discord in an organized spike. Is this possible? also is there a way to make your heroes attack 1 monster besides clicking on lock Livia on [insert monster name here]

Calling the target is how to focus damage on the enemy, at least through what I've seen.

For hero hotkeys, you can't get all of the heroes using the same skill at the same time with a single push of a button, but if you're hitting them with Discord simultaniously you could set Discord on all of your heroes to the number pad keys 1, 2 and 3 for example. You have to go into Options -> Controls and scroll down until you see "# Hero Skill #" or something, and assign the key.

You can, if you have a logitech keyboard with macro function or download autohotkey. I believe the script would look something like this.

Numpad1::
Send, {Numpad2}{Numpad3}

Then when you hit numpad 1 it will automatically send 2 and 3 at the same time. As long as you set numpad 2 and 3 to heroe's skills like above.

Or if you want to go one step further (I use assassin's promise in slot 1, then you move like a dwarf in slot 2). Make it so once you cast ap and ymlad that it'll instantly trigger all 3 discords.

Before people ask, no a script which helps you make heroes spike in a nice clean spike is not going to get you banned.

So, for the smart people out there you can create scripts to help aid in your pve or pvp needs.

Hello all,

I was actually wondering if this is really needed to use. I tried to vanquish a desolation area with a friend, but we died. Because we were too busy with calling targets and stuff like that that we didnt do our own jobs and we overpulled. So we /resigned and went back to sabway, you can just sit back at that and do your own stuff, instead of controlling your heroes all the time.

Or is this nonsense?
Please tell me how to play discordway so it works the best,

Depends on your heroes setup. If you run an ap nuker you just cast assassin's promise, you move like a dwarf and all of your discords should focus on the target because it meets the requirements.

So, for the smart people out there you can create scripts to help aid in your pve or pvp needs. This imo.

If you have some spare cash you can buy a Logitech G11 or G15, and play around with the G-buttons. I was having fun with this a while back, and it allows you to create different "profiles" to load up depending what you want to do, so with a keyboard like that you could easily customise the keyboard for each team build you play. I assigned all the "dead" keys (those dotted about in random locations which were not yet assigned) to hero skills, then bound a G-Key to them.

If you can't afford such a luxury then just assigning Number Pad Keys 1, 2 and 3 to the three Hero Discord skill slots would allow you to push them in quick succession to create a nice spike.

The G11 and G15 are SERIOUS wastes of cash. They are JUST NORMAL KEYBOARDS that come with programs that let you create macros. Oops, there are free macro programs. Oops, you just wasted $100 on a keyboard that looks fancy.

They do NOT have any actual hardware programming, and so can be detected by punkbuster, gameguard etc, and hey can still get you banned from certain games.

Actually the G11 is more like $30... and it also has 18 (x3) recording buttons. Allowing me to record macros without exiting a game. It has Multimedia keys and the keys feel really smooth. Best keyboard I've ever owned. (No I'm no logitech fanboy)

So I'm trying to Zaishen Trap (Elite) as easily as possible, and I was wondering if I could bind all of the heroes' skills to my own skills (so 1 --> Action: Skill 1, Action: Force Hero 1 to use Skill 1, Action: Force Hero 2 to use Skill 1, etc.). Is that possible? (Without macros)

Gaming/marco keyboards are a bit more than just fancy looking boards with built in macros. You should look up features like response time, anti-ghosting etc.. All these features provide a very noticible difference in gameplay.

although the tarantula is better for assigning hotkeys. with the extra keys on the sides.. I purchased the Lycossa keyboard so i can play at night.
I believe any of those keyboards are able to set up macros.

And the difference between discordway and sabway is, discordway is faster, but you have to pull mobs and prioritize targets. While with sabway, you can just shout Leeeroooy Jeeenkins and make it through.

When using discordway with a friend, its probably best to just have one person calling targets while the other supports. Ive used discordway enough to notice that when you call a target, even your partners heros focus on your target.

When built correctly, a discord team can even handle some overaggro. Just make sure that you have plenty of N/Rt heals, a N/Mo protter, and maybe even a N/Mo hex/condition remover.
