These books are like eotn books, you complete it, give it to npc and get another one, give it to npc again , get reward again etc.

Maybe they realized that there's better games out there for PvP and that they can't get to a higher caliber of PvP with a less-than-ten-man team. If they can wow us with GW2's PvP, I personally can wait.

That would bring so much gold into the game that it would damage the economy insanely. I'd probably get at least 50k, if not more, so multiply that times ~1.5 million that actually still play..

OK so the books are not retroactive which means to get anything out of them you have to redo everything, so as far as i am looking at this that means an increase in grinding, makes these retroactive so each can be used once without ahveing to redo everything at it wouldn't be a lot better

I logged in today to find that have to do EVERY MISSION ALL OVER AGAIN IN ALL 3 CAPAIGNS FOR THEM TO COUNT. W T B Moar Storage for all those new books and summoning stones.
Seriously.
Zero storage increase on GW:EN and incredibly huge loads of entirely new items added since last storage update is a major pain.

Yes what about an incubator type item but for books! It would be fantastic, the incubator type item takes one slot in your inventory but you can open it and slot in one of each book. Would be a great improvement to the game with all the books there are now imo

I thought this would save the deep, I loved that area so much, maybe the news hasnt fed through yet, but the deep is still a dead zone

Do like this update, it will make a couple of the grindier titles much better.
2 gripes though:
*All extra faction added at once - I just got 20k Kur and 20K Lux added when logging in. If I cash either I will loose all of the other. Normally I wouldnt try to gain faction for one side unless the other was all cashed in so I wouldnt lose any.
*New books arent retroactive. Pity as my mains have already completed all three campains several times over. Unlike eotn there doesnt seem to be a 'pay gold for page filled' option for these books meaning the chars would need to recomplete chapters all over again.

one problem, giving us the luxon and kurzick faction from previously beat mission all at one, well is wasting the one you dont' trade in.. 9k kurzick faction wasted because i have 13k luxon to trade in.

I do see you point, however do they expect that to go over well for the legendary defenders who now have to repeat every mission to turn in the books, I have 6 on me, well tell i delete them, only 6 because i have ss/lb maxed

What is the reward for the "Young Heroes of Tyria" handbook?

Sorry to QQ, but the bonus faction for LUX and KURZ is delivered to your account at the same time... too bad you can only donate to one side or the other (while the other half burns up)!

Great update. Exceeded my expectations. Thanks, ANet. On a scale of 1 to awesome, Linsey is simply brilliant.

I was right about the HFFF change. Simple solution.

Remember, this is the monitoring period where they watch for possible problems and other stuff that might need fixes including bugs and all that before the weekend (since not everyone works on the weekend)

things could still change but this imo its a FANTASTIC update, and reduces grinding alot imo compared to before.
