new titles dealing with elite areas

when forming pugs sometimes its hard, you have groups saying looking for pro this pro that you get into the group and half the poeple dont even know what there talking about and then the run fails becuz pople have lied. and have just joined the group as a newbie thinking hey there pro group ill sneak in and just i willtry my best.

im getting so tired of group slike that i dont join group sthat say lfg pro or xp'd in the spam

i say add a new title(titles) for say fow , uw, ha, and doa(long with urgoz, and the deep)

say do simething liek the following

Adventurer of the Underworld 50 clears(aka opening the chest)
Pioneer of the Underworld 100 clears
Veteran of the Underworld 250 clears
Conqueror of the Underworld 475 clears
Master of the Underworld 850 clears
Legendary Master of the Underworld 1337 clears

and do the same for the rest some area make it less for each title depends on the areas say make for about the same make doa a little less

i know this is a kinda bad ideal, becuz like in ha forming group r 8+ and so on make it harder for the new guys to rank up

but like myself i dont mind taking longer then my average if i know how long certain poeple take and them being honest , like saying hey im kinda new is that ok , so at least i can give him tips , but then you get pople that dont know what there doing wont listen then rage becuz of it

we have to have something to help groups out that want to do a run quick becuz of say i like ot go to bed in the next 30 min then doign a run it taking 1 hour

In summation, you're asking for a title to support the elitism you hate. I'm sure you'll enjoy boycotting the groups asking for "pro" or "xp'd" as much as you'll like boycotting groups asking for "r6-7 1337".

Also, I think people doing speedclears aren't expressing any true amount of skill, so I'd prefer not to give them anything to boost their ego.

i actually hate the titles..of course they're good to display your prestige..but they dont make you a better player or a worse one, and some of the "buffs" you get from them are laughable at best..not to mention that this is where GW becomes a ridiculous grind game..where the titles are about the only dynamic to the end-game element..for the exception of the elite missions - which, if you havent completed the elite missions, then imo - you havent reached end-game..if titles are to be in-game - then why not make all of them accomplished titles, rather than having 27 or so accomplishment titles and the rest being grinder titles..for some reason i just dont see spending 10,000 minutes drunk as a grand achievement..or with the sweet tooth title, that crap is boring, lame and not needed. if it were my choice i would actually put this idea in-game because it signifies that you've actually accomplished something, rather than just spending way too much time playing..

it would have been nice to not ever see how your titles progress, but rather surprise one with the achievement of the title upon completion..being that progression is seen, it forces you to focus on that one grind until its done, taking discovery right outta the game..you dont get the "awesome" factor for seeing your titles progress..you pretty much just exhale a breath, wipe your brow and say "finally"..

Agreed, elitism sucks, but adding an elite title to cure the problem of too many people requiring elite titles? Sounds pretty fail to me.

Oh hell no. I'm so not doing uw/fow/deep/urgoz over and over again for a title. Especially with pugs. I doubt my guildies will want to do it either. I know I'm not being forced to get the title either, but its just more elitism/no life sign.

the only way i will make a tittle for this is a "Legendary Eternal Conqueror", for finishing all elite areas in normal and hard mode.

1. no need for any more titles imo
2. you dont need to clear an area a hundred times to be experienced,that just means u farms alot.
3. if u dont like pugs get a guild who do that without the need of pugs.

Remember guys, the object of the game isn't to beat every area once, its to beat every area 1000 times over and over.

as for me, if you have cleared the underworld like 50 times, let alone more than like 1000 times, uninstall guild wars and go get a job/life.

Yeah , less rank discrimination. Ursan era was bad enough.

If someone clears UW 50 times, then I think it's obvious that they are capable of doing it. Having a title that says 'I've done this over 1000 times' is pointless. I'd rather have a 2 rank title where R1 is acheived by completing all elite areas in NM, then R2 is the same just in HM.
