yeah i deleted all my characters and gave away all my stuff...sometimes I wish I hadn't but it is for the greater good. I want to start completely fresh in GW2.
I stopped when Ursan Blessing parties were flooding each and every elite area or HM run in GW and didnt see much to GW for about half a year. Tried Tabula Rasa but this game didn't give the thrill GW did.
So I returned recently "full time" to GW and picked up my maxing title goals.
Must say I'm glad to be back
Guild Wars is still a great game for me but after 3 years I don't know if there is much incentive to play as much anymore. Almost finished my destroyer weapons and after that I'm not sure what is left to do here until GW2.
I like to play occasionally. But seeing as my last few things to do are HM rragar's, HM frostmaw and HM Vlox I've just given up hope. Today I did a 5 hour run fo Rragar's HM and it cost me 5 powerstones and a full set of consets. I didn't make it, I ran out of consumables at the two flesheater bosses before Rragar. I'm going back to World of Warcraft....

After two years, I'm still playing 4-6 hours a night (depending on when I get home from work and if I decide to warm up with some D2 or Burnout Paradise first).
In fact my guild (which me and 3 other friends-2 of which are still around-founded after playing for 5 weeks) is almost 2 years old and our Alliance is growing strong.
Yes, I have stopped playing guild wars regularly and moved onto Anarchy Online (again). All mmorpgs are just becoming repetitive carrot in front of the horse type play and just not offering up really anything new. I took a look a Warhammer online and it reminds me of SHADOWBANE and we all know what a flop that was. I'm still waiting on the no pay to play mmorpg like WOW that has lots of phatt loot, an extremely good story and a crafting system to die for that rewards people who spend their time crafting as well as those who spend their time adventuring.
Nothing to do.
I think Anet should just assign a some of their designers to make a mini-expansion, they need to keep the game alive until GW2 comes out.
