Don't forget that there is something as "weekend" and there are often other problems that are more important (I remember something about lag on one of the European servers?)
They don't HAVE to help you out and they don't HAVE to fix everything, they could have just said: bad luck guys, you're not getting any points this month, no screen = it never happened, ...

If you had no problem then you don't really care either way.

If you had a problem then you should have contacted support about the issue you were having.

And then Oh my goodness, guess what, they now know about the problem.

The real problem is that all these whiney kids these days need everything right now! They think that everything is "owed" to them and they should never have to wait for anything no matter what.

It is truly sad what this world and society is turning into.

It's seems a lot of people (me included) are wondering if their account needs to be registered in-game with Tolkano in order to receive points (before the update that distributes them).

Is there any official info on this?

I dont think you understand the problem here.

People read the posts and the in game instructions but still had problems. They wanted to know why they did not get what they were told they should get. The problem was never about people waiting or having patience. There is a game bug and no amount of waiting would have solved the problem without Anet correcting the problem. If the problem was identified and addressed by Anet right away you would not have 75% of the people posting here on guru about this topic.

And by the way, we all did pay money to play this game some more than others and Anet wants to keep us happy as we are an asset to them.

We didn't actually know it was a bug or a problem until people actually started contacting support.

These posts pop-up EVERY month. Every single month, without fail. Impatient people who can't wait even 10 minutes for their reward points.

The problem is that nobody contacts support. They immediately come here and whine and moan about how they don't have their points yet, but Bobby does. Do you really think ANet knew there was a bug with the points if within the first hour of the update every whiney baby came out to complain about not having their points? Its not really the kind of bug that someone can immediately point out, because every update that adds tournament reward points this kind of thing happens, but with most updates people get their points.

Ever heard that story of the boy who cried wolf? The community has shouted "i haz no points!!1!" too many times. Now this time they really didn't have points and look what happened.

Yeah, there is a problem with all the impatient people who didn't read the thing that says "Wait 15 minutes before mobbing the Xunlai for your loot" complaining on these boards.

However, there are some people with legit problems (such as myself, and the others hit by this glitch) when it comes to the Xunlai House. Since everyone assumes that we're all "WHERES MY POINTZZZZZZZZZZ" our questions usually don't get answered...

But thanks for clearing this up Regina. A few nights ago I dreamed that I had 105 Reward Points (My dreams are always this crazy, don't worry) so now all I can do is hope that it comes true...

It sounds like you're experiencing the same issue that affected the other players. If this is the case, then yes you should be getting your August prediction points in October.

I sent a support ticket the day after the points were given out and was given a response a couple days after. Go troll somewhere else.

Woo, double points! I've never received any points before. I can't wait to see how many points I get, then see how much the Z-keys sell for. I need gold bad lol. Thanks again Regina for clearing things up.

I see the Xunlai Tournament House hasn't been updated to the September predictions yet. When will it be? When I log on now, I still see the August Predictions there.

Im sorry, but thats just a lie. What maybe you should say is that when people contact support, they are sent a form reply that often does not even relate to the original issue/question.

as an example, I had an issue with April points on two accounts. I sent in support tickets on both accounts. I had to chase them up to get a reply after two weeks (having teh standard "we have passed it on to xxxx" reply) and then it not being dealt with until a week after the deadline to claim the points.

So don't ever come out with such statements as "nobody contacts support"

I didn't get my points and I was able to make my September predictions today.
