Anet and hackers

ok idc what happns to me but anet is the worst company, so i get my account HACKED and guess what all i ask for is a re roll of my account its not like i did anything rong but guild wars cant lift a finger, so all my chars are gone. NOW i have to quit guild wars cos i have been playing for 3 years and i will not be able to get all my stuff back anytime soon and my HoM is stuffed so i dont even want to bother playing gw2 now all i want is my account re rolled but nooooooo. Imagine if anet had one of there accounts hacked i bet they could get there accounts re rolled i payed for all 4 games and now all that moneys gone so guild wars LEARN TO RUN A COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!

I think that someone (Gaile maybe) mention months ago that if they wanted to re roll just one account, they'd had to re roll the whole server. (I may be wrong).

Anyways, just as most people say when a thread like yours gets created : you should have been more careful.

Actually its been said a few times before, theres nothing ANet can actually do to help you get your things back unfortunately

Sorry to hear about your losses, make sure to add your GW account to a playNC account for extra security and change your password regularly too and go through all the usual security things...

Unfortunately this does happen from time to time, but its really not ANet's fault and it happens in most MMO's too... Just take a break and come back and if you need help ingame, just shout and I'm sure a few peoplewill help you get started again and help you through

Oh yeah, you can also contact support and get your password back by mailing them your serial keys and a picture of the cards where the keys are on. Just a suggestion.

@Aera : I think that he still has access to his account since he knows that all of his characters were deleted.

i have my password back i was saying i WANTED MY ACCOUNT chars back and ive seen other people been re rolled for dumber reasons then getting hacked so it is all anets fault they ban for no reason just /report they dont even look at someones thing they just say hmmm someone been doing shit rong 1 year ban and regina does crap for anyone, she doesnt even go to the game and talk to people all she does is sit on guild wars wiki and do crap

Lots of games cant re roll there accounts, you just keep thinking that anet is blizzard...and I wonder why you got 'hacked', it's common sense to not download hacks/key gens/cracks/torrents or give out your account info. so you should stop blaming anet when its YOUR fault that happened.

it would have been better if they had build in some kind of infastructure to restore potentially accidental or deliberate deletions of characters

hopefully they get smart and include it in the design of gw2

Lies. No one has ever had their chars returned after it was deleted. Access to their accounts restored, yes. But nothing else.

DAMN LoWS anyways well ive seen anet re roll guilds which have like 5 members in it so i think that an account is more importent then a gay guild

This is also why guild wars are losing players because anet just ban and let other things happn and i told anet about hmmm 5 days before the chars got banned cos i saw the hacker on my account so 5 days they could have done something instead of sitting there playing with guild wars 2 which is not going to happn until about 2016

And why would Regina come in-game ? In case you didn't realize, when Gaile came in-game all she talked about was what she likes and that the devs are doing "something" (of course, there was some few exceptions).

Your asking for way to much they would have to sit back for hours and recover thier SQL database to get your chars back. if ya know how long that would take you would not ask for a re-roll.(They have a VERY BIG DATABASE for user).

guilds have been re rolled and anet are so dumb with banning also there was one of my friends who was in kamadan one day and someone traded him an armbrace and the next day he was perma banned for im guessing dupping

ANET doesn't re roll guilds....

You can't just flat out blaming Anet for this. You never justified your side and thus it's fully possible that you had 5 porno accounts and well.....you know the rest.(or you're doing something bad for the health of your pc, and yourself in that matter)

It sucks to be hacked, I KNOW(I had been hacked before, not on GW, but on RS.....yes, RS. It's pathetic now that I recall ever play that game but....truth are the truths, can't be avoided/changed), but look, at least you get to try out something different. Look on the bright side, not on the dark, since that will simply make you even more depressed.(Red Alert 2/Starcraft 2 is coming out this winter btw, they looked G-R-E-A-T )

honestly who cares its a guild RE BUILD THE THING none of there accounts were hacked all they lost was a stupid thing with a cape and a couple of numbers

u have to understand that Guild databases are just name list.(This are easely recoverable. Character this may drag a whole SQL table to be recover meaning other players will be effected by this. That would be very bad
