seriously, do we need ursan for this too? I used empathy + useless skills too.
i didn't think about frenzy though. It's a good idea.

yes, cause this totally couldn't be a thread geared towards those who have numerous 20's and are working on a survivor, or for example a character they don't care much about and don't want to put effort into...
Cause you know, power leveling totally didn't screw the concept of lvl20 way back in the beginning of proph, cause you also know, this is a game based on level rather than anything else.
you're totally right.

For a relatively Idiot-Proof 3-skill Mo/X (and X/Mo) Setup you'll need...
1. Max armour (Runes don't matter all that much, I had just bought a new one and managed to put 1 survivor's insignia in my chest piece and thought I'd rune it up later so I just went in with that ^ ^;; )
2. Smiting to 12 (Although the more the merrier) and Healing to 12 as well.
3. Then you'll need: Retribution, Holy Wrath and Healing Breeze. What makes it great is that all these skills are from prophecies - in LA or close to it (HW is in the Ascalon Settlement), which is important to those who don't own all campaigns/haven't gotten that far/don't want to waste tomes etc.
4. After you accept the mission and zone in, then right before stepping on the last stone cast Retribution, HW and HB and skip the clip.
5. Run next to him (which triggers him to switch from bow to axe).
6. Type /dance aka ...don't attack yourself
7. Watch him kill himself ^ ^
Takes a bit slow IMO (His attack speed is horrible >__<) but in ~1 min or less it's done so you'll bonus it and pretty much just... stand/dance there doing absolutely nothing ^___^ Doesn't require much brain power to take care of him.
But survivor's mind your health! This build is basically a who-goes-down-first kinda one, which means if you are near dying - zone out, get more HP and try again before you think your 5% will outlast his 25% XD

And you'll technically only need it for that little bit to get past his bloody bow attacks while you load/stabilise lag and can run next to him to force him to use his axe.
And mreow! I know it's not the best idea out there, I'd never claim that, but hell - if it works, then it's good enough for me

So I'm pretty sure this thread could go on and on and on and on about easy ways to kill the doppleganger. Its rediculously easy to kill him using any class at all. I garuntee I could find a way to kill him using one and only one skill for every proffession.
Exept if you dont know what you are doing quite yet lol. I remeber when I did it with my warrior (about 3 years ago) I didnt really know what it was so I just went in with my block stances and self heals and all. Still won though.

Most of the people bad enough to actually have trouble with the doppler generally do not know about guru.
it really really amuses me when peeps have problems with this
I mean on the first time i pawned him into the floor and from that day on the few times that i have come V him i have litarly just used the build i had loaded
But with my survivor char i used Frenzy and all pet skills took off my armor and put it back on after that cinematic, just a precuation

The Real Idiot Proof Mo setup:
[build prof=Mo/N][Scourge Sacrifice][Awaken the Blood][Blood Renewal][empty][empty][empty][empty][empty][/build]
Emptys can be other sac skills, but you don't need it because the instant he does AtB & BR with Scourge Healing on, he sacs 100% of his health. gg. Surprised only one guy posted it. xd.
