I personally hate how you can't buy armor unless you're rank X. I mean what happens when less people are playing and elite guilds want you to have rank 8+ to get in or something? You won't be able to do HM books because it would probably be too difficult. I'm trying to get my r5 Asuran for armor and I used my first book for Norn, but now all seems reptitive and makes me not even want to bother with it. I love how the other campaigns were set up. I mean wtf was arena net thinking running to a dungeon that's a small walk, but all together pointless. I really hope they don't make Guild Wars 2 like Eye of The North was. I hope they make it closer to Factions really. Prophecies was too slow and Nightfall had reputation grinding in it, but not near as much as Eye of The North.

To sum it up I think the regular campaigns were better than Eye of The North. I like Ursan and dislike it at the same time. I like it because it makes everything a breeze if you're high enough rank to get into groups, but I hate it because it has rank.

EotN = Grind

I HATE grinding! I bought EotN at release date, and I haven't yet finished it..
I have NO maxed titles, and I've been playing for over 3 years. They just want us to stay with Guild Wars until GW2 comes out, but I don't realize how making a game that was against grinding to a grind-fest can do that.

I like the dungeons - if you don't do them with an ursan team. Vekk also happens to be my ele hero of choice, and Gwen is always in my lineup. But boy do I hate the grindfest and the rank elitism. If the rank actually SAID something about how well you play,it might be somewhat more forgiveable, but why be elitist over a rank that is mostly grinding? oO

I don't like grindfests so I didn't like GWEN.

Well Glacial, who would want less power? Don't get me wrong, I'm against grind and most things about it aswell.

On topic: I actually found it fun the first time through, but unlike the other 3 games, multiple completions proven boring and stale.

I hate Anet for Eye of the North. The game has been dumbed down with PvE skills, Ursan and endless grind. Skill is no longer required, just get r10 norn and you won't have trouble finding a PUG.
The dungeons are a big disappointment. The loot is meh-ish and combined with loot-scaling is even less rewarding. You'd be better off farming on your own, because that way you get more money than on a dungeon trip.
These things lead me and my friends to retirement from GW. And we're not talking about boredom here. The way the game currently works is just not right and it's putting me off.
How I miss the days of Prophecies, when there were no things such as grind and time > skill. If Anet wants GW2 to be a successful game, then they need to get back to the roots of Prophecies.

Tyla: True, but it still drives me up the wall. OMGYOU'RENOTR9+NOOB. OMGNOCONSETS!NOOBS.

That kind of playing increased thanks to GWEN. HM Frostmaw's and Shards of Orr were fantastic, though.

Did I like Eye of the North, yes. It Has a better store line then Factions (which I paid more for). Tied up a store line and opened up a few new story lines (Norn, Asura, and Charr).

It failed to deliver but it brought HoM into the game which is the most important part of the transition, so i guess it's fine. I really enjoyed playing it for the first time, but the forced repetition is repulsive.

Couldn't agree more on this.

I think it's been 2 days ago, I joined this non ursan fow group and the builds were horrible, first thing it came in my mind is: EotN, Main reason: people became so used to ursan and passed on the "disease" to beginner players > beginner players got ursan and grinded the title > leaving them without any real build experience = players with epeen items and armors are still noobs.

Titles ruined creativity and corrupted player's minds.

I liked it at first..but when the grind shows up, I hated it.
I will never grind through eotn AGAIN after maxing those 4 titles <<;

Other then that, it had good scenery and the HoM isn't bad.

i finished it with a crappy mesmer that had 15 AL armor (no joke)
and in one day
and especially the repetitive grind sucks
the ebon vanguard area is way to small

The worst thing it brought were those damn chaos gloves! All those are is a symbol for e-penis. The only thing they go with is a chaos axe. All I see is monks with obsidian, chaos gloves, and ninja mask or blindfold.
