Webpage with NPC Trader Prices.

Very simple idea.

I'm not sure how useful it would be, convenient in some cases im sure and possibly promoting trading but can't really tell.

The idea is the following:

a webpage that shows NPC trader prices for all items sold at traders and updated every 5 to 15 minutes.

could even have some nifty extras like show price fluctuation on a graph.

for all you "economy" lovers out there.

The data is already ingame, it would just need to be tied into a webpage.

In order to do that they would have to let down the security and it would be an invitation to hackers.

I think there was a project similar to your idea before.

there WAS a community project but that one died WAY back in 05.

Im suggesting something official and automated.

It would be handy for figuring out how much a set of armor would cost or something, without having to keep tabing back and forth.

Since prices can literally change any second... you'd have to constantly refresh the website if you want accurate prices. Unless it was some sort of widget/gadget program, it just wouldn't work right.

people already do this with Auctions and just looking at the trader.

LOL.... I do a manual update to my guild forums on a daily basis just from checking the trader.... Showing fluctuations....

Think far better to see the guild roster online than the trader prices but neither will happen.
