Ah, so it isn't a glitch, yipee...free favor for the next 4-5 months.

Remarkable. I've been watching the trader's sell price of UW scrolls last hour (request button). It changes between 1k and 1.1k all the time. Though the price stands at 1.1k most of the time. This means (unless I'm missing something) people are selling UW scrolls to the scroll trader (for 700-750g btw) while others patiently lure to buy scrolls for 1k, as the price reaches 1.1k fast again. It seems there's partly a change of ownership of UW scrolls going on.

This probably means we won't have another ss/lb weekend for a while, boo.

Consider:

UW scrolls do not reorder your party. Paying to enter does.

Therefore, when the price is the same, a group will prefer to use a scroll. So there's a natural demand for scrolls.

There's also a natural sell pressure, from players that regularly play with groups. (8 successful players get 8 scrolls, but only need one for the next run).

So you're going to see oscillations in price, as the former group only wants to buy at 1k and the latter group will start selling more heavily the second the buy price exceeds 1k.

Two major events happened today: we have 30k favor and Shadow Form got nerfed? They are linked, together with ecto price and scroll price.

The new permasin is alrdy active. Anything can happen now. Will Anet change Shadow Form again coming hours or not? etc.

It's too risky to try and predict the outcome at this time.

Why even have a timer if they never let it run out?! They have added time several times before...Why have scrolls? Come on it was going down naturally, they could have let it stay at 0 for a bit. It's not like we would not be able get in and this would have helped bring the price of ectos back up naturally.

The timer last event was 30k minutes more than it showed. Which meant that when it went to 0, those 30k minutes re-applied themselves.

Actually... if you were smart like me... you already sold them earlier this week when they broke 1.7k and already turned a profit. If you were greedy and held on to them for longer... your loss.

If this actually is about the ~43k minutes or however much we lost during that one weekend, I'm surprised we got a refund.
