Amazing response to all the complaints about PvE being made easier, Anet. Apparently you are on a mission to restore all the brainless farming builds of yore. Why not revert Protective Bond and Verata's Sacrifice while you are at it?

Ugh.

You mean the [Vocal Minority] forum people? I am sure the majority is rather pleased with this update, so QQ more. I on the other hand is having a great time with all the guild mates and friends coming back to GW thanks to all the recent de-overnerfs.

I am quite happy with this update, love the mystic regen buff

Unfortunatly, For Grest justice was one of my center moves in PVP along with Dslash...but oh well, I won't QQ about it. I'll just have to try and work on doing another build that works.

I am busily playing a certain 3 letter game at the moment, but I still cannot resist commenting on at least 3 skills:

* "For Great Justice!": functionality changed to: "For 20 seconds, when you hit with an attack, you gain 1 additional strike of adrenaline."
--> The days of DSLASH/FGH+IAS and 10 adrenaline to spam again are now over. I guess Cyclone Axe and Whirlwind Attack profit more from the +1 adrenaline on hit. IMO: - GOOD -

* Ancestors' Rage: increased duration to 2 seconds; decreased damage to 5..50; functionality changed to: "For 2 seconds all foes adjacent to target ally are struck for 5..50 lightning damage each second."
* Splinter Weapon: decreased damage to 5..30.
--> I dunno, was Ancestor's Rage used for farming or why this change to PvE only? I thought it was fine as it was.
Splinter Weapon: Still extremely powerful, just lessened in power especially for my favorite Ranger/Ritualist Barrage/SW setup. - GOOD, its still awesome. -

* Antidote Signet: functionality changed to: "Cleanse yourself of Poison, Disease, Blindness, and one additional condition."
--> Needs some testing. It can probably replace Mending Touch. This would allow the many Rangers having this superglued on their bar to take another secondary, no idea how this will turn out. Very powerful.

@Mystic Regeneration:
The whine of the crying farmer clouds the mind of the balancer or what. :P
STOP BUFFING MINDLESS FARMING BUILDS EVEN MORE. We already have enough of them. As people already said, then bring back Verata's and Protective Bond, too, this would be equally mindless. -> the stupid craze around this skill lead to even sillier results!

Aside from the PvP-related changes, their decision-making process for skill balancing is still quite baffling. What exactly are they trying to achieve with most of those PvE/PvX changes?

I'd like to see some HM or NM only skills, or skill effects. Example: Mystic Regen capped at 3 enchants in NM and/or 6 enchants in HM.

my only problem with [barbed arrows] is that it makes [melandru's arrows] a worthless elite now, the +dmg is not a reason to waste an elite slot

Your friends left GW because of nerfs? That's really sad.

Decent idea, except it needs to go the other way around. Hard mode is supposed to be hard, right? Give it more strict skill nerfs, then. Makes sense.

LoL - skill splits gone wild!

To be fair, people playing 6 hours/day actually know how to adjust their skillbar and don't have time to come QQing on forums.

I don't like seeing all those buffs (in fact, I liked nerfs more even as a 95%-PvEer) but to be honest. I laugh about seeing people whine about it. Like you said, go PLAY it.

Except the difference is that when somebody leaves because of nerfs, it implies that the games has become too hard for him, but if somebody leaves because of buffs, it implies that the game has become too easy, isn't challenging any longer and is boring.

no it implies that that person lacks imagination and simply cant do anything but chose the easy way out no matter what the situation.

"omfg pve skills suck! too powerful i kill everything in one hit!"

"...use something else"

"no wai! its better!"

then they come onto the forum and ragequit..over and over again.
